Hawkeye's Cameo Featured In Thor Emerged Online In Low-Quality!

If you've seen the film, and want to relive the moment, or you haven't, but don't mind being spoiled, Hawkeye's full cameo in Thor has emerged online in low-quality. Check it!

Back in 2009, prior to being attached to the role, the actor behind 'Clinton Barton' of Marvel' The Avengers, Jeremy Renner revealed Marvel's plan to use the Kenneth Branagh-directed Thor film to feature the live-action debut for the archer; Hawkeye. While Renner debunked the possibility soon after, it wasn't confirmed 'til earlier this year that the cameo was in full affect.

And now, the cameo that aroused hype just by thought has found it's way online, in low-quality. Whether you've seen Thor, and want to relive the brief moment, or you haven't, but don't mind being spoiled, check out the almost-minute video below.

For a recap how the archer will look in the forthcoming Avengers film: it isn't purple like in the 616 comics, but more similar the the Ultimate Hawkeye. It's a black sleeveless leather-like costume with a little bit of maroon. There is the "Hawkeye" symbol on the chest and he carries modern professional bows in a matching over-the-shoulder leather quill with the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo emblazoned on it to show his government allegiances. Clint also had dark glasses, featured on official concept art.

BESTCameoEVER

Those 60 seconds already show how great Renner will be in the Avengers.

Loved Thor, it was a cinematic EPIC

Pardon my unforgiveable ignorance but was the black guy Thor was fighting; was that Luke Cage? I'm not very well schooled on Marvel...

Ive had farts more significant than his cameo. It was pointless and he would've been cooler in the after credits extras with fury. I didn't care either way.

this was the most pointless cameo ive ever seen. it served the story in no way and was just used as an advertisement for the avengers.

of course im still looking forward to seeing renner in the avengers although id imagine he'll be joked about in family guy at some point in the future and id imagine it would go something like this:

"You're about as useless as Hawkeye is to the Avengers"

cut to scene from the avengers

Hawkeye:"So wht do you guys do?"

Thor:"I'm the god of thunder and lightening"

Banner:"I turn into a monster when I'm angry"

Cap:"I'm at the peak of human perfection. What do you do?"

Hawkeye:"..... I uh... I'm good with a bow and arrow"

Cap:"Oh. Thats uh cool I guess"

:D

Agree, they should have forgot about Thor and focused more on Hawkeye lmao, WTF? Cameos are just that, a cameo. This one was perfectly added without looking out of place and cheesy.

@punchmaster

comedy is not your strong point, maybe work on your act a little bit, and come back with something stronger next time. Just saying that he's going to to be awesome in the Avengers doesn't make it OK for you to interject your own lame shit here.

@punchmaster dude u are crazy. You had me laughing my ass off. Because I could actually see that as a skit on family guy. As to your critic Cainraw, dude get a life and a girlfriend man. Peace my fellas needs.

This was by far the best cameo they have done in this cinematic universe....so far. To me this is how a cameo should be done, it sets up the character with enough badassery to not be featured too much in the film. He was great in the role and I did have a fan boy gasp.lol

I think like everyone must have seen this now?!?

Damn, I should have got my cell phone out and recorded that scene 2 weeks ago... nah I might of been caught and missed half da damn movie! ; D

Pure Epic!

ok guys..this is the way i see it..the reason why hawkeye's cameo wasn't so thundery is cause it's thor's thunder.. get it?! :D
Rodimus9

They forced his cameo. That's what was wrong with it. Him riding the bucket to a sniper view with a bow and arrow was gay IMO.

@ Rodimus, i totally agree. Although cool to see Hawkeye on film it would've been cooler if it really served the story. he should have taken the shot!

about the hawkeye's cameo, its looks lame considering that he's a superhero and will be part of the avengers, the way he got into that crane thing, is not how superhero moves. you know what i mean.
but all in all cameo or no cameo. the movie is great and i just watched it here. http://www1.zmovie.tv/movies/view/thor-2011 and i'm watching it over and over,
i will just wait for the dvd or blu-ray. ^_^

I saw Thor yesterday.. Fantastic movie all around, althought the one bitch i have about it (which i realize is kind of a stupid bitch..) but nonetheless - in the credits. I realize it's just advertising but really? did they have to put "Thor will return in the avengers"? just came off as cheesy. (Oh god. I spoiled part of the credits...)

Anyway. As for Clint Barton/Hawkeye's Cameo - Yes, it felt forced, but honestly... It worked. I agree with Weneedrevelation, Having him zing thor with an arrow would have been cool, But at the same time i think then it would have put too much focus on him - unless there was some sort of confrontation between the two, it would have felt incomplete.

I think they did a better job at dropping hints towards the avengers this time than with Iron Man 2..

Anybody think they should just use scenes from IM/Cap/Thor's solo films for the Avengers trailer? really make it a surprise? hah. Maybe just have Nick Fury talk
about assembling the team, show clips from the other films, and have one last shot of them assembled as a team..

is it just me (i guess it is) or was thor a lil slow???? i mean there were huge parts of the movie i was waiting on SOMETHING to happen.....and the whole hawkeye thing really was pointless. all in all i liked the movie tho.

This cameo was pretty cool, I love the way it was put in without looking cheesy, but I only wished he actually took an impossible looking shot with the bow, just to show people who aren't familiar with him that he's a bad ass.

Fishandchips - 5/8/2011, 9:36 AM
It makes me laugh cause people like us know who he is and we love it, all though some of us dont but still. But people who dont know who he is will watch avengers then come back and watch thor and be like oh shit its hawkeye! so i think it works for everyone, which is cool. I liked the cheeky little nod to avengers as i said, fanboys sit there like

And non fanboys sit there like

that is of course until the watch avengers then they understand.

@montana2rice - i dont mind the ultimates, though i think they are modenising, not making it ralistic, but i hate all the CBMs now a days trying to make them realistic, homey has super powers, how realistic can you make it.
