SPOILER ALERT! If you don't want to know major details from a rough cut of Marvel's THOR, do not go any further, but if you don't mind being spoiled, check it out!

Apparently a rough cut of Kenneth Branagh's epic tale of THOR was shown to Marvel executives to get an idea of what they're promoting. Over at the SuperHeroHype forums, mammoth-sized spoilers have been revealed from that rough cut. Being that it was in fact a rough cut, don't expect everything listed below to appear in the film; not in the chronological order at least. You've been warned!

UPDATE: Galactus here! This is legit folks. Confirmation has come to me via an indisputable source that this is not a faker. Can't say who. Sorry! But you can trust the word of the eater of worlds.

Highlight spoilers below

You've been warned again!

-Movie starts off with Natalie Portman, Kat Dennings and Stellan Skarsgård in a van out in the New Mexico desert observing a phenomenon in the sky. This is when Thor drops to Earth... Natalie Portman accidentally hits him with her van (which she does again later in the film)

-We cut to a flashback of Thor back on Asgard. He's about to be anointed king by his dad (Anthony Hopkins) when two frost people or whatever they're called infiltrate the palace and try to steal a "casket" which Thor's dad got during a battle with the frost people on their planet.

-Thor tries to convince his dad to wage war against the frost people after they broke the truce with Asgard. Thor's dad refuses; Thor, Loki and 3 other soldiers (Jaime Alexander and two dudes) end up going to the frost planet alone

-Thor's dad comes to the rescue just as the Frost people are about to kill Thor and his warriors (despite Thor kicking *** for much of the scene)

-Inside his detention cell; Thor is visited by Loki...who tells him that his father has died

-Thor confronts the Destroyer, and apologizes to Loki (via a conduit with the Destroyer) about what caused him to be resentful of Thor after becoming king of Asgard.

-It was actually Loki who helped the frost people infiltrate the Asgard palace; Loki made a deal with the frost king in that Loki would help the frost king kill Thor's father in exchange for Loki assuming complete control of Asgard (this was a LIE)

Thor destroys the Destroyer by a blow to the head by his Hammer

-Thor shares a kiss with Natalie Portman before going back to Asgard to confront Loki--who kills the frost king just as he is about to kill Thor's father (Loki essentially did everything as a way to earn Odin's respect)

-Out on the rainbow bridge, Thor defeats Loki. He and Loki are hanging along the edge of the bridge and are about to be sucked into a wormhole when Odin (who regained consciousness when Thor returned to Asgard) comes to their rescue.

-Loki tells Odin that he "did this all for him" (killing the frost king and about to destroy his planet)...but Odin replies that he didn't want peace "like this." Loki realizes he failed his father once again and lets go of the bridge...falling into the wormhole

-Back in the Asgard palace, all is well. But we see Thor on what remains of the Rainbow bridge...asking the Gatekeeper (Idris Elba) what Natalie Portman is doing back on Earth.

-Thor had to destroy the rainbow bridge (with his Hammer), which was his only way to get to Earth, because Loki threaten to go to Earth and kill Natalie Portman

-The Gatekeeper replies with "She is searching for you." Final shot of the film is of Natalie Portman, Kat Dennings and Stellan Skarsgård inside a room working on their science equipment.

Updated with more spoilers!

1.) The special FX in the bridge scene was obviously not complete...but I think it will look really cool when Thor uses his Hammer to shatter it. Most of the fight took place in the Asgard palace

2.) From what I remember we only see the helmet during the flashback scene at the beginning of the film

3.) Nope... Thor doesn't wear the helmet at the end

4.) Didn't notice any easter eggs. Can't remember if Hawkeye was shown in the flick

5.) Nothing really stands out with the dialogue...except the "What you consider magic is science to us" or however the quote goes in the trailer

6.) The romance bits. The comedy was fine...but I wanted the "intimate" scenes between Thor and Portman to end quickly

Loki is relatable evil. Everything he does is to earn the respect of Odin and even Thor. But he becomes corrupt when he finds out he was actually the son of the Frost king, and becomes King of Asgard after Odin falls into a coma

In terms of cameos, Stan Lee plays a truck driver who tries to pull the Hammer out of the ground (in the crater scene shown at the end of Iron Man 2) by chaining it to the back of his truck. He fails in the attempt.

The source, "works for a boss who deals with figuring out the audiences' opinion on movies after they have seen them." Do realize that this is from a rough cut, so things can & will change. Anyhow, THOR will be unleashed May 6, in 3D, in 5 months.

There's something that I don't like. Thor defeated by small Frost Giants, but he win against the Destroyer?
Sounds a little stupid.

some of this dont really match up with the trailer

@Intruder

well it is a rough cut so it might not have the hawkeye cameo in the spoiler.

it sounds fake to be honest with you, no mention of the SHIELD interrogation scene, and in the trailer dosent thor wake up in a hospital at one point and goes berserker.

Great find DCMF, but something about this sounds a little fishy to me. Thor beats the Destroyer with only a blow to its head with his hammer? Its always taken a lot more than that in the comic books, which gives me the feeling that this was written by someone not that familiar with the comic books...not to mention the fact they miss out almost everything we caught a glimpse of in the trailer! Interesting all the same though.

I smell something. This "source" obviously put the trailer as a movie and then filled in the blanks. I won't look at another "spoiler" again.

I never do this on people´s articles, but ... FAKE. No way peps. And please, don´t you mean Sif and the Warriors Three, Because the trailer shows them.

You guys DO realize that you don't have to post everything you find, right?

That maybe... you can NOT post the most retarded and obviously fake rumours?
Benjamitesandwich
Benjamitesandwich - 1/2/2011, 12:24 PM
Last I checked it takes a lot more than just a blow to the head to destroy the Destroyer. And what ever happened to the scene where Thor is banished by Odin?

This is obviously fake.
AlexDeLarge87
AlexDeLarge87 - 1/2/2011, 12:46 PM
Intruder@ I dont think Loki wants to impress Odin! I think he wants to destroy him for revenge when he finds out that Odin killed his real father Laufey the king of frost giants.
That would be enough motive for me!
SmokinIndo
SmokinIndo - 1/2/2011, 1:24 PM
CRAP I read it!!!! I COULDN'T RESIST! WHAT HAVE I DONE!!!!!???

I hope it's fake.

PartyHard - 1/2/2011, 1:32 PM
@AlexDeLarge666 I don't know about that. That seems too simple a motive for Loki if you ask me.

Lest we forget, there is little mention of Stellan Skarsgard's character, who was supposed to play a large part in the film. From the trailers, we see him as some deformed nastiness and I can't imagine that being some small sub-plot on Earth while things go on in Asgard. That, and I thought the Destroyer was here on Midgard. I haven't seen the trailer in a while, but isn't that where all the cars and such are being tossed around?

Although, it's a good find DCMF!

You guys this is legit not every detail of the movie is listed here. these are just a few details. They are Not in order. And this is from rough cut guys. But I understand if you don't want to believe them.
HammerGod
HammerGod - 1/2/2011, 4:12 PM
It sounds pretty weak as far as plots go. I hope its deeper than I tricked daddy to get his trust. I also hope it shows Thor's super strenght and not just make his hammer be his power. I want to see him call down Lightining on the destroyer.
SFCamerica
SFCamerica - 1/2/2011, 4:15 PM
First of all, this really didn't spoil anything. Most of it is probably nonsense. Secondly, you people complaining about what CBM posts, here's a thought! Don't click on the link!! Also, I don't believe this was meant to be a full synopsis of the movie, perhaps they left the stuff out from the trailers because you've already seen this footage. A crappy write up of the movie doesn't translate to how good it's going to be on screen. Take a deep breath and relax people.
JoshJones
JoshJones - 1/2/2011, 4:16 PM
Let go of the denial, people. This reads as being pretty legit to me. The source obviously isn't a big fan of comics(Thor, at least), and admits to some chronological errors as well as being lax on some details. Also, what the hell are you people going on about with how the trailer doesn't fit with this description? Everything I've seen in the trailer can easily be placed somewhere in this description.

Does she get in trouble?

this has to be fake hiddleston has been stating we will find out the truth about Loki's heritage(i:e loking being the son of a frost giant), witch is nowhere stated above. to people who are not familure to comics this would be a HUGE realization
