THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER Star Christian Bale Arrives In Australia Ready For The Start Of Production

Cameras are expected to begin rolling on Thor: Love and Thunder early next year, but Chris Hemsworth has revealed that script meetings have already taken place, while Natalie Portman landed in Australia a few weeks ago. Now, it appears as if the movie's rumoured villain, Christian Bale, is joining them down under as pre-production continues.

As you can see below, a video has been captured showing the British actor arriving in the country to start prepping for Taika Waititi's Marvel Studios movie.

Unfortunately, there's still no word on who the former Batman is playing in Thor: Love and Thunder. Dario Agger (a.k.a. Minotaur) is one name that's been suggested frequently since the movie appears to be taking inspiration from Jason Aaron's Mighty Thor run. However, fans have also thrown around names like Gorr the God Butcher, and even Galactus.

We'll just have to wait and see, because with the entire Phase 4 slate pushed down the calendar, chances are it will be a while before we learn anything official about Thor: Love and Thunder. Due to COVID-19, it also seems likely that shooting will primarily take place behind closed doors.

Check out the video of Bale below:

the only good thing to come out of the sequel trilogy.
Cant just say someone is the new Boba Fett has to come naturally, originals had Boba, prequels had Darth Maul, sequels had TR8R

@dracula - I guess WB wasn't paying him enough to return in the Flashpoint movie with Ezra. Casting is like sports drafting, there is no loyalty.

@dracula - well, they got Bradley cooper as just a voice actor. And I just want beta ray bill in it regardless of the actor playing him

Bale’s got incredible comedic timing. Patrick Bateman has to be one of my favourite deadpan performances ever
