Vague Description Of Hawkeye's Actual Cameo In THOR Revealed!

Apparently, via Cinema Blend, at this year's CinemaCon in Las Vegas, Paramount Pictures' presentation consisted of 20 minutes of new footage from both of Marvel's much-anticipated Captain America & Thor movies. Notably, in Thor's presentation, it apparently featured actual footage of Jeremy Renner portraying 'Hawkeye' in action. Read a vague description below at your own will.

The scene we saw featured Renner as Hawkeye, working with the infamous Agent Coulson, played as he was in the Iron Man movies, by Clark Gregg. The scene features Hawkeye using his famous bow and arrow and he has multiple lines, so while we’re talking about something a little more than a momentary cameo, there’s no way to know if his involvement will go any further than that one scene.

With this, those who've read the script, thinking they know it all, are in for a big surprise. Anyhow, while Renner is clearly set to appear in THOR May 6, he'll be assembling with The Avengers May 4, next year!

That script that's been floating around was an early version...they're have been plenty of rewrites and additional scenes.

Yeah that doesnt follow the script that was leaked but Im glad they changed his cameo up. IMO it was kinda weak. So stoked to hear they changed it up.

Who uses a bow and arrow nowadays? You have the god of thunder, a steroid jacked super soldier, a man in a flying metal suit that shoots rockets that can incineratea tank and a guy that mutates into a 9-10ft green monster that can throw tanks..... And then there's the guy with the bow and arrow....that's gay. Hawkeye? More like homo-eye.

This is Awesome!! Agreed with all other Hawkeye fans out there... truly the most badass avenger... but maybe that just ties into my childhood love of the Robin Hood character... probably also why im still a fan of smallville and especially their version of Green Arrow...
So i say hell yes! Hawkeye IS the Avengers as much as Cap or Iron Man in my opinion... always will be!

They've obviously added some material to later drafts of the script, although the bulk of the leaked draft still matches up with literally all of the footage seen in trailers and tv spots. I'm happy to see that they gave Hawkeye a bigger cameo. His little sniper cameo they had originally penned was pretty lame and throw away.

Darkmatter..... Arrows bro, arrows! Maybe a rifle upgrade, but he's got nothing else. At least Iron Man can fly. I just don't see how some e with any mutant (natural or not) abilities can be a superhero. That's just me though. I've always been a Hulk and Superman fan cause they can f*ck shit up with sheer strength. Now they are "Charlie".

Your right man! The casting for these films has been epic!! Ill be honest i was a little peeved when Evans got the Cap gig but he's grown into the role for me and ive completely forgotten about him as the Human Torch...

Renner as Hawkeye....thats down to Marvel listening to the fans and giving them what they want!!
