Episode Two Of THE WALKING DEAD Draws In Another 9.5 Million Viewers

Last night's incredible episode of The Walking Dead ("Seed") drew in another 9.5 million viewers on AMC. With Dish subscribers once again able to watch the show on AMC, it's thought that these figures will continue to rise as the weeks go on.

Deadline reports that The Walking Dead once again decimated the competition last night after drawing in a staggering 9.5 million viewers on AMC. 6.5 million of those were adults aged between 18 and 49. That's a drop of only 11% in that category, and 13% overall from last week's criticaly acclaimed season premiere. Now that Dish subscribers are once again able to watch the small screen adaptation of Robert Kirkman's hit comic book series, expect these viewers to remain steady (and possibly rise) over the next few weeks.

I was getting really worried that the prisoners would end up as full-time cast additions. It made me so happy to see their leader get a machete buried in his head.

Yeah, this last episode was pretty awesome. Though I really don't care about Andrea and what she's up to, too bad that's what next episode will be about.

^^^ I wonder if it could be one of the canibals? But last night's episode was frickin awesome... I expected it to be down to those very two prisoners. Axel & Oscar, who may in fact play a role similar to that of Tyreese. Any one noticed how he's rockin' the crow bar?

It's the Rick we've been waiting to see for a long time now. Can't wait to see how Andrew Lincoln portrays him when Rick starts to crack.
@Luminus: good point!

I agree @manymade1. This is right up there with the beginning of the Ricktatorship. "This isn't a democracy anymore."

Good two episodes so far but thy already changed stuff from the comics in this season, killing most of the prisons is one of them.

I loved Rick in the comics.. FINALLY, last night, he lived up to the same character in the TV show!! to me, he finally equalled Daryll!! I was so thrilled to see Rick be the badass I always thought he could and should be!

@YOUNGBL00D: my interpretation is it was overconfidence, not expecting the immediate retaliation. Seems he tried to react when it dawned on him what Rick was doing but he was waaaay too late.
