According to British sci-fi mag Starburst, a Sunday newspaper is intending to scoop the BBC by announcing the name of the new Doctor this weekend -- so in order to pre-empt that, the channel will announce the name tomorrow evening. They also report that early contender Ben Daniels is definitely not in the picture, and that the part might well go to one of the following actors:
Domhnall Gleeson (
Harry Potter, DREDD),
Daniel Kaluuya (
Skins, The Fades), or
Dominic Cooper (
Captain America: TFA, The Devil's Double). Now Starburst themselves say they can't be 100% sure about this, but that's what their sources have told them -- we'll have that pinch of salt handy until we see how it shakes out over the weekend. If it was to be one of those three though, which one would make the best Doctor?
