I remember a time when it was hopeless that after Birds of Prey and Smallville, we would possibly never get an amazing Black Canary on-screen. Now, it seems like Arrow has changed that. Check out Caity Lotz as Black Canary, a new mysterious vigilante roaming the streets of Starling City. Who is she and what is her purpose? I have to say, I went in to Arrow with very low expectations and found myself coming back even though i didn't think it was very good, and over the course of the first season it definitely went from "bad but strangely watchable" to "way better than it has any right to be."

Hopefully Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D starts including some more lower grade villains and heroes. I really want to see Mocking Bird.

That's one of the first times a domino masked works in live action! The huntress mask wasn't good at all. I'm glad they pulled off a great look for Black Canary

well said! the costume looks really good, one of the better ones I've see on TV since "Dr. Fate" in the JSA episode of "Smallville".........'great interpretation of the "All-Star Batman" version of the character.

@write33 Dr. Fate was honestly Smallville's best costume. I think Stargirl's was great too because of how close it was to the source material. This show I think is finally starting to head in the direction we all want it to. But I'm also concerned on how they will handle the Flash and his suit. Fingers crossed though!

AWESOME costume!!! She is better than "Smallville" version of character, but without super-scream power it's not a 100% Black Canary) But she looks really like a comic book superheroine, that's awesome!!! Costume, weapoon-sticks, mask!!! "Arrow" rulezz!

She's a great looking Black Canary. Costume looks classic even without the fishnets. Fishnets may look ,great but they really aren't practical to fight crime in. Can't wait to see her fighting skills. Love this show,Arrow keeps getting better.
