ARROW Season 3, Episode 22 Description; "This Is Your Sword" - SPOILERS AHEAD!

The CW has finally released the official description for the penultimate episode of Arrow, "This Is Your Sword". It contains some interesting spoilers about the ascension of Al Sah-Him, not to mention the surprise return of a couple of fan-favourite characters. Hit the jump for details...

AL SAH-HIM TAKES HIS FINAL STEPS TO ASCENSION; ROY AND THEA REUNITE — Oliver/Al Sah-him (Stephen Amell) finishes his training and is left with two final tasks to become the next Ra’s al Ghul. Ra’s (guest star Matt Nable) threatens Nyssa (guest star Katrina Law) and delivers some shocking news. Meanwhile, Malcolm (John Barrowman) makes a surprising offer to Team Arrow and Thea (Willa Holland) goes to see Roy (Colton Haynes). Wendey Stanzler directed the episode with story by Erik Oleson and teleplay by Ben Sokolowski & Brian Ford Sullivan.

We'd heard that Roy Harper/Arsenal would return at least once more this season, but the fact that Nyssa is showing up here is obviously confirmation that Al Sah-Him doesn't kill her in next week's episode (which the promo strongly hinted was the case). Anyway, it sounds like Oliver is definitely going to end up leading the League of Assassins, but who knows what twists and turns the finale will end up having! Do you think The Arrow's gone bad? As always, be sure to share your thoughts on these new details in the usual place.

I have a feeling by the end of season 3 it will be Nyssa who runs the league with Malcolm possibly being her right hand. I know it's farfetched because he put everything in motion to kill Sarah but she's obviously going to return in some capacity and this way they can bring Barrowman and co back in future episodes whenever it suits the story.

I guy that's been playing Ra's has been surprisingly awesome. The show has picked up the last few episodes, but it's definitely not as good as last year.

Tarantino finally speak about comicbook movies:

"hey, okay, it's like this there's really nothing wrong with comic book movies. I love, love the Blade series and Man Of Steel was a great take on the Mythology but it's like when did these movies become an empirical take over of the Film Industry? I'm not saying they're completely devoid of quality I mean the last Captain America that came out was great but I've seen all of them and some are just really on auto-pilot and seem to only be cash grabs"

Also Warcraft moves to June to avoid BvS:

Duncan Jones’ WARCRAFT, which was scheduled for March 11th of next year, will now come out on June 10th, 2016. That pits it against NOW YOU SEE ME: THE SECOND ACT, THE CONJURING 2, and the UNCHARTED adaptation (the latter will probably move, as it’s relatively early on in development).

I came to the show from the first Flash crossover: 1) too many flashbacks, they just kill the pacing of the show; 2) either give Felicity better dialogue, make her act better, or just kill the character (I used to look forward to her as her Barry Allen interaction seemed heartfelt and genuine but the character is a mess now.)

I think this season has been great. People forget all the cool things that happened (like the Flash Team-Up, the Boxing Glove Arrow Nod, etc) because this show has been on for several seasons. No CB TV show should be on for more than 3 seasons. People just get sick of it and critical. Thats why these team ups have been fun, its different with new dynamics. And that's why Flash and Daredevil have seemed so great. Give em a couple seasons. Peeps will start griping that Barry is just going to zip and save the day at the last minute AGAIN, and question as if brooding Murdock could lead a double life as a lawyer and vigilante without one perp [frick]ing everything up. They would be wise to cap them at 2 seasons.

this season has shown how vital Manu Bennett was to the show. Plus Daredevil makes it look like Sesame Street

I'm just not buying into the whole Ras Ah Gul storyline. It seems forced and lacking any real emotion. The acting and script doesn't deliver or bring across the stakes in the way I think they should. It's tough to describe but it just all seems meh to me and I really liked Arrow up to this season. Team up shows with Flash or not, it has been a lackluster season for me.

Arrow is getting worth and worth at each episode, huge plot holes, you could forgive the acting if the writing wasn't so bad and evrn the action is getting bad.
and now Oliver is called Shaba Ranks or whatever...

Really, worth and worth? Look im not a grammar nazi or anything but thats just horrible dude.

And the reactions to the show pretty much reiterates what ive been saying for awhile. As a whole, this season looks great, start to finish. I bet binge watching it wont be as bad.

But the fact that theres sooooo many episodes combined with the frequent breaks they have to stretch it out a bit and that severely hinders the show. Other shows that have 10-13 episodes work so well because they get straight to the point and cut all the clutter.

All of the breaks are what hurts this show the most. I've enjoyed it but, those [frick]ing breaks are killing them.

@Himura

LOL yes worse the my grammar?only my typing,i apologize.

i don't think binge watching would change anything,it is not the timing its the writing that IMO is getting weaker.
Season 1 and 2 were pretty solid we had a strong villains, real threats, suspense.
this season the main villain wants Arrow to be his HEIR!
Ra's Al Ghul the demon head!leader of the league of assassins WANT PROTO ARROW,a hero who cant even protect his own family to be his heir!
At least in the comics when that happened to batman he was already at his peak!

After watching Daredevil, I can never watch this show again. The acting is truly atrocious. This season (prior to Daredevil's release) was boring and lame. With the exception of a few episodes, I really haven't liked Arrow. It tries to be dark, but it's so corny. Daredevil is the right kind of dark that Arrow should imitate.
