New Australian Promo For ARROW Addresses Those Felicity Spoilers (Low-Res)

When spoilery set photos emerged concerning Emily Bett Rickard's Felicity Smoak, Arrow showrunner Marc Guggenheim took to twitter to cast doubt on their veracity. However, a new TV spot would seem to indicate that they're factual.

Arrow will soon return from mid-season hiatus and it appears that one member of Team Arrow will never be the same.Set photos emerged online a few days ago which showed Felicity Smoak in a wheelchair. Concerned fans were taken aback but executive producer Marc Guggenheim took to twitter to imply that those set photos were actually scenes from a hallucination and may not actually reveal the condition of Smoak following Damien Darhk's devastating attack. However, this low-res TV spot from Australia would seem to indicate that Smoak's condition is no dream.

THE AFTERMATH — Oliver (Stephen Amell) must deal with the devastating consequences of Darhk’s (guest star Neal McDonough) last attack. Seeking revenge, Oliver goes on a brutal manhunt looking for Dahrk. Jesse Warn directed the episode written by Oscar Balderrama & Sarah Tarkoff.

I'm so done with this show. Unless Flash or Constantine appears in some episodes. Yea season 2 was good but that's only because of Deathstroke. Everything else is a joke about this Batman ripoff show.

If they call her Oracle, they can [frick] off.

Marc Guggenheim = Bull sh!t!

Felicity = Oracle

Is easy when you borrow ideas from another superhero to maintain your show fresh.

I still like Arrow, but I worry that it will never reach the highs of season 2.

In my opinion, one of the big problems with seasons 3 and 4 is that it's becoming less and less a show about Oliver Queen. The supporting cast is great, but they should be just that. Supporting.

By the way, this clip in no way proves that the Smoak sequence isn't a dream.

Another mistake that the showrunners made is thinking that because the Flash is so popular, Arrow should just adopt the tone/approach of that show. It doesn't fit. They are different things. Seasons 1 and 2 were great (in my opinion) because they used a more grounded tone and told a very personal story to Oliver Queen.

Maybe this is rose-tinted specs but the stakes felt higher in seasons 1 and 2 also. What with the Arrow killing, the secret identity, the death of Moira and Slade being so ruthless and powerful. It might be that the events of the mid-season finale were a way of the showrunners realising that the steaks need to be higher and the story more personal. I that's true, and they continue to course correct, then I will be happy. Because make no mistake, I still like Arrow and will be watching til the end.

I'll be brutally honest this show is a waste
The acting is terrible and the only thing that was cool ( the fight scenes) seem fake as shit now
It better end at season 5 cause who wants more of this low end superhero show

Lol at people complaining about Arrow ripping off Batman when the source material was a ripoff of Batman to begin with. He had an 'Arrowcave,' for [frick]'s sake.

But yeah, this show has been shit since season three. Watching it now is like watching Rocky V. Hope they get a chance to Rocky Balboa it next season.

This season isn't anything groundbreaking,or refreshing. In my opinion Arrow h as lost its niche, uniqueness, and part of the reason is due to other CBTV shows.

All the Marvel series has been delivering everything much than what Arrow used to do the best . Even its sister show Flash has been much entertaining than Arrow is at the current moment.

Being a Bat-man rip-off hasn't been helping either. But that can't be prevented since the source itself has been a copy of Batman and doesn't seem to evolved from it

Its time for the writers to either get very creative and make huge shake up, both in terms of tone and writing , or just cancel this show. From what I am seeing, its just a few inches away from being cop-procedural, and that isn't suitable for a superhero.

All the babies come out in full force, i see.

Yeah, it's still probably a nightmare scenario for Oliver i think. Turns out in the end of the episode that he was dreaming while at the Hospital's waiting room.
But even if he isn't, what's wrong with making her Oracle? It's a great Elseworld's style twist and honestly, after the horseshit Birds of Prey TV show, this is the closest we're going to see Oracle on TV anyway.

I said it, without her this show stand no chance to get good again, but she already lose half of a of her appeal when she became Olicity and now they'll hide the other half in this wheelchair... So she's like dead now but still they put someone esle in the grave, it's like they're trying to bury themselves. Or the grave is just for her legs that would limit the damages on the show

Well to be fair we didn't actually see Felicity in the wheelchair. Her mother just said that "she may never walk again." There's a chance that wheelchair thing in the later episode is a triggered hallucination of what Felicity could have been (had she not died.)

That said, this season and the last have dragged. The only highlight I can really give credit to this season is the inclusion of John Constantine. ... And we freaking need him back.

Since it's peak at the end of season 2 Arrow has been on a decline.

It is beyond saving and must be allowed to die.

Felicity is not dying before they resolve the plot with Ollie's kids. She's always been their Oracle, so a wheelchair makes sense.
It has to be someone else in the grave.... Quentin, Ollie's son, Diggle, Thea.
My guess is Diggle. He has to "die" to infiltrate the Ghosts for his brother. And something has to happen to his body if they want to truly make him anything like the character Spartan.

Totally a batman rip off, remember that time Bruce ran for mayor of Star City? Oh wait no what comic hero did that? Green Arrow. Or all that time batman spends on an island in the North China-oh wait that's GA too.

As far as I can tell all Arrow has borrowed is some of the Rogue Gallery in DC's SHARED universe that are usually associated with batmann. Hardly inexcusable when GA's rogue gallery includes Leapo the Clown (one day Arrow!)

It is perfectly believable that there be more than one girl in the whole universe on a wheelchair and as she was not shot and raped by the Joker I see no evidence of anything Oracle st all.

That's probably part of Felicity's halucination.
If they do put her in a chair, it will come with twist. The writers are good at playing us that way.
