Ever since Kevin Smith revealed that he would like to write few episodes for Arrow, the reaction has been mostly positive. Smith's run on the Green Arrow comics are crtically acclaimed, and his story arcs are some of the best ever written for the Emerald Archer. Fans have welcomed the idea of Smith taking over Arrow for a few episodes, and now it seems like the Green Arrow himself is also excited about the idea.

While replying to a comment on his Facebook page, Amell gave his thoughts as to what he thinks about the idea of Kevin Smith joining the show for a few episodes.

As you can see in the post above, Amell thinks it's a "[frick]ing awesome idea." Shortly after Amell shared his thoughts, Smith took to his twitter to give fans a little taste as to what his episodes would be like. He likened them to Kevin Spacey, Brad Pitt, and Morgan Freeman's SE7EN film, with Onomatopoeia as the main villain. What do you think about the possibility of seeing the Green Arrow take on Onomatopoeia as a serial killing psychopath?

Smith is a kind of guy who likes the sound of his own voice...but I'd also like to see him have a go at Arrow. Might make it watchable again. Season 2 was so good, too bad it went downhill.

After the Seven post, he got insane OLICITY fandom hate. They came at him in full force thinking that he would have Onomatopoeia decapitate Felicity and have Oliver do a What's In The Box scene.

Felicity dying wouldn't be such a bad thing, and it would certainly make Onomatopoeia one of the greatest Arrow villains if he was the one who destroyed Olicity.

@Kr08 - This what happens when you cater your show to a Tumblr audience.

@MattBellissimo - It's amazing! It's one of those films that makes you think that the hero will save the day, but he ends up being broken in the end.

@Kr08 - Seriously. Easily one of Spacey's best performances too.

I'd like this to happen, but l don't think it will and the Felicity fans are the reason.

Had he been able to I'd have liked him to bring in the character Mia Dearden and l know Thea's middle name is Dearden, but she just isn't the same character.

Kevin Smith writing for Arrow? I guess it would be better than the room full of twelve year olds braiding each others hair that I assume currently does it.

Kevin Smith would redeem the show, and give it the (presumably) great last season it deserves.
