UPDATE: ARROW's Suicide Squad To Return

WB's plans for a live-action Suicide Squad film may have curtailed The CW's plans for a Suicide Squad spinoff from Arrow, but Amanda Waller's (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) dastardly group will return in episode 18, "Suicidal Tendencies" with a few additions and subtractions to the roster.

Amanda Waller and the Suicide Squad are returning to Arrow in s03e18, "Suicidal Tendencies."  However Michael Jai White's Bronze Tiger won't be present and Sean Maher's Shrapnel is of  course, deceased.  Joining the team will be Amy Gumenick's Cupid.  Also confirmed to return is Michael Rowe's Deadshot.  Though onlyt two members are confirmed to appear at this time, it's most likely a safe bet that A.R.G.U.S. will dispatch more than just Deadshot and Cupid. Will Harley Quinn be released as well?  We also know that Manu Bennett's Deathstroke will be making his Arrow season 3 episode 14, "The Return".  In between episode 14 and 18, could Deathstroke become an official member of the team?  While this news is exciting, bear in mind that we're several weeks away from this episode's air date. For now, Oliver (Stephen Amell) simply has to heal up and return to protecting his home of Starling City from the criminal machinations of Ra's al Ghul (Matt Nable).

Arrow returns tonight will all new episodes on The CW at 8PM.

UPDATE: ET Online mistakenly reported that the Suicide Squad returns in episode 18.  "Suicidal Tendencies" is actually the 17th episode of seasoon 3, not the 18th.
