Haters hatin.

But Del Toro is not only the man, he's the perfect man for the job.
KaneVonDoom - 11/3/2012, 12:28 PM
But potato flavored BLT's taste very close to real potato chips.
NerdyGeek - 11/3/2012, 12:30 PM
HA!
DukeAcureds - 11/3/2012, 12:39 PM
BOOM!!!
Come on, WB! He's up for it and it'll set a trend instead of following one.
Clive Owen for John Constantine.
toco89 - 11/3/2012, 12:42 PM
Why does it suck, this is great if its true. A great concept developed by a great director, who specializes in the nature of the source.
Bandido - 11/3/2012, 12:44 PM
Potential beam of hope

KaneVonDoom - 11/3/2012, 12:53 PM
@ Toco... Agreed. Maybe a "Justice League" type team would suit this better.

@nailbiter

Let me know when youre done and Ill delete them. I'm not trying to annoy you, I'm doing this with the best attitude, I'm sure you are too.
soberchimera - 11/3/2012, 1:16 PM
Why doesn't he just make a Swamp Thing movie?
lalosuper3001 - 11/3/2012, 1:34 PM
Hey Warner Brothers! If you are checking this page, get your suits to take their heads out of their arses and listen to this idea! It is a great idea!
Hellsboy - 11/3/2012, 1:43 PM
is the movies of movies for del toro seriously why would he pass? but i need hellboy 3 and then after this im good for about 30 years or so
xizorkatarn - 11/3/2012, 1:57 PM
Damn, good casting @Froggy!
KnobGoblin - 11/3/2012, 1:59 PM
HellBoy 3 first!
toco89 - 11/3/2012, 2:16 PM
@froggy

Anybody but a deschanel, they're both so damned annoying.

Zatanna is intelligent, charming, and hot.

I gotta go with Clive Owen over McGregor as much as I like him. Maybe even Bond himself, Daniel Craig, gotta strike while its hot.

FirstAvenger - 11/3/2012, 2:19 PM
Thanks froggy, but you could just make a fan-fic. Great cast!
SKOne - 11/3/2012, 2:27 PM
I would love for Guillermo Del Toro to do a movie like this, it fits perfectly with his style. However, I don't think anyone should ever believe what Pietro Filiponi says, I'm pretty he posted a bunch of false articles on this site last summer and started a bunch of casting rumors to promote Kevin Pennington.
TheOneAboveAll - 11/3/2012, 2:34 PM
@Froggy
No offense I love Zooey Deschanel but, she reminds me too much of my aunt so I can't she her as sexy. I would prefer a "sexier" actress. Preferably someone with a natural accent. I would nominate an actress similar to Eva Green.
I also always imagined God's Wrath, "The Spectre", to be someone with a deep resonating voice. Preferably he would also be of west African decent like in the comics. I would think an actor along the lines of James Earl Jones would be a good choice. They could have another actor do the body performance. They could use a similar technique to what they did with Darth Vader, or Doctor Manhattan. I would want someone with an astral, or non-earthly voice to voice over The Spectre.
TheOneAboveAll - 11/3/2012, 2:39 PM
On a side note: David Hayter would be an amazing choice for one of the voices of the characters. Steve Blum would also be a good choice. These two voice actors' voices are very distinct and they would resonate well with the audience.
Mark Hamil would be a good choice for either Etrigan or Swamp-Thing.
DudeGuy - 11/3/2012, 2:53 PM
Really hope this happens!
TheOneAboveAll - 11/3/2012, 3:12 PM
@Shamo
I agree with you, we should have some more continuity in the movie verse of comics.
toco89 - 11/3/2012, 3:13 PM
@above

West african decent? Did you make that up? Cuz one he's a spiritual entity, and two he always used an american host in the comics, one of them being Hal Jordan and the original was some dude named Jim Corrigan.

Michael Ironside, aka Darkside in Superman TAS, is a good choice for The Spectre.
TheOneAboveAll - 11/3/2012, 3:16 PM
West African decent is a political correct term for a black man. "Most" black people are descended from West Africa. African American, can refer to a Caucasian. Many people from South Africa and some places in East Africa are mostly dominated by Caucasian.
TheOneAboveAll - 11/3/2012, 3:45 PM
Jenna Dewan looks the part, but I do not know about her acting.

Julia Voth,is the same story as Jenna Dewan. She is a fan favorite for the part of Zatanna though...

Serinda Swan already played her in Smallvile so that is a no.

Rachel Weisz would be an amazing choice.

There is also Eva Green.

Another good casting could potentially be Jaime Alexander but considering she is working for Marvel I do not know how that would pan out.

Any of the above would be great choices for Zatanna. In my opinion.

Well thanks for all the info, but my aunt being from Niger(yes Niger and Nigeria are two different countries) and her daughter being a missionary in South Africa, I'm familiar.

But your reply then makes me wonder, why a "black man"?

Race has nothing to do with the character.
