THE FLASH: Barry Allen Wants Revenge In The New Promo For Season 8 Finale: "Negative, Part Two"

Following a jaw-dropping penultimate hour that saw multiple deaths and one humongous return, next week's season finale promises to be one of the wildest in the show's history as Barry seeks revenge!

A lot happened in tonight's penultimate episode of The Flash season eight, and it looks like the stage is now officially set for what should be one of the show's wildest and most action-packed finales ever, as a vengeful Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) squares off against his greatest adversary, the Reverse-Flash (Tom Cavanagh).

The hour, which picked up immediately after the events of last week's installment, kicked off with a shocking twist as Deon (Christian Mabgy) seemingly killed the imprisoned Eobard by using the Negative Still Force to rapidly age him into a corpse.

However, while it seemed as though the threat was vanquished, things only got crazier from there. By the end of the episode, evil Eobard (Cavanagh) ripped open good Eobard (Matt Letscher) and emerged from within with his full speed restored, which, of course, meant nothing good for Team Flash.

Then, the episode took a devastating turn as Thawne killed Iris (Candice Patton) by using Barry's own lightning against her, and seemingly set the stage for a sure-to-be insane finale next week.

While not much is yet known about what to expect, it looks like Barry will be getting some major reinforcements from his future children Nora (Jessica Parker Kennedy) and Bart (Jordan Fisher) - who both still exist, so maybe there's hope for their mother as well?

Check out the new promo for episode nineteen, titled "Negative, Part Two," below:

I wonder how Thawne will get the black suit from the leaked images.

@MV081199 - It not appearing in the preview is meant to be a surprise for those that don't go around too much on the Internet and run into spoilers. Either it is kept as much as possible a secret in terms of how it happens and it involves a lot of action or they actually shot fake scenes wit that black suit to misdirect when in fact he stays with the classic yellow one.

It probably could have something to do with the oscillation chamber Meena and the good Thawne developed, perhaps he steps right into it to get more charged.

how can a show over use a character so much and still do nothing new with him

Season 1 and 2 set up an obvious way to bring him back, the time between getting his powers and going back in time to kill barry's mom and they have not done anything with that since it was established as still a thing

This season has truly been a bounce back season. It's got some fresh legs (pun intended) and there has been a handful of moments that felt like Season 1 again.

Those final 10 minutes or so, wow.

Really looking forward to the season finales of Superman and Lois, and Flash.
