After an unexpected hiatus due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, The Flash returned tonight with a revealing installment that saw Barry (Grant Gustin) finally determine that something was seriously wrong with Iris (Candice Patton). Now, next week's episode will see the Scarlet Speedster put all his efforts into tracking down his missing wife.

Meanwhile, Eva McCulloch (Efrat Dor) makes a dangerous next move which puts the real Iris on high alert.

"Liberation" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, V) (HDTV)

HUGE CHANGES AHEAD FOR BARRY AND IRIS - After recent events, Barry (Grant Gustin) takes a closer look at his life with Iris (Candice Patton). Eva (guest star Efrat Dor) makes a bold move. Jeff Byrd directed the episode written by Jonathan Butler & Gabriel Garza (#617). Original airdate 4/28/2020.

Matching wits with The Thinker, who by season’s end had harnessed the powers of all twelve bus metas he created, stretched Team Flash to their limits, but with the help of some new allies, Barry Allen (aka The Flash) and company were able to put a stop to the Enlightenment and save Central City once again. However, with the arrival of Barry and Iris’ speedster daughter, Nora, who arrived from the future admitting to having made a “big mistake,” things are anything but status quo. Will parenthood be the challenge that finally slows The Flash down?

@Reeds2Much - Right? It only took forever for a villain to realize maybe they shouldn't color code it to make it easier for the hero.

I've never hated on Iris much but I feel like fake Iris is making me hate real Iris even more now.

I thought this was a pretty solid, good episode. Pretty strong. I thought that the main plot with Joe and Ragdoll, especially when his life was in danger was really good. Barry struggling with his speed was good too, I like this kind of Barry who is conscious of his actions and weighing one thing over another.

The Ralph-Sue plot was fine too, they are fun to be around together and have good chemistry.

Iris is on average kind of a bitchy person, but man is mirror Iris a super bitch, she makes me like the real Iris a bit. Glad that Barry finally realizes something is wrong with Iris.

Just had two minor nitpicks. One, when Cecile screams into the face of Ragdoll, man was that acting really bad, I burst out laughing. And when Barry runs Cecile away from the bomb, why did he run her so far away? All he had to do was run her several blocks away, not on the other side of the city.
