Tom Cavanagh Discusses How Flashpoint Affects Harrison Wells On Season 3 Of THE FLASH

While many assumed that we'd be seeing the original Earth 1 Harrison Wells after the time-altering Flashpoint, Tom Cavanagh seems to have indicated something different is in store...

With Barry Allen having travelled back in time to save his mother at the end of The Flash's second season, a lot will have changed when the show's version of Flashpoint hits the CW this Tuesday.

Many fans theorized that since Barry also apprehended the Reverse Flash when saving his mother, this prevented him from murdering the original Harrison Wells and stealing his identity. While this part has proven to be true, it turns out that Tom Cavanagh won't be portraying the kind, mild mannered version of the scientist we glimpsed in season 1's flashbacks.

“I played the original Wells on the beach with Tess,” Tom Cavanagh told Entertainment Weekly. “This guy won’t be that guy. If the show has strengths, I would argue that we’re not repeating ourselves generally, and specifically I’m trying not to repeat myself.”

Cavanagh's comments are certainly interesting, especially since the actor has played numerous versions of Wells already. What do you think the character has in store for us this time? Sound off below!

"Hoe Flashpoint"

I was not aware that Flashpoint was so sexually active. Hell, I didn't even think a story could be sexually active.

Reminds me of that time Josh posted a Spider-Gwen article and forgot to put the title and it just said "COMICS" on the headline. I'm pretty sure the 1/3 of the comments posted were users on to him about that xD

@jaysin420 - this man was almost the best thing about season one. He was one of the best villains I've seen in awhile, especially on a tv show.
