10 year old actress/dancer Octavia Alexandru's résumé reveals that she'll be playing "the Child of The Forest" in the fourth season of HBO's Game Of Thrones. Fans of the source novels will know that this means she'll likely be playing 'Leaf', who Bran and his companions encounter in the fifth book of the series, A Dance With Dragons. Clearly this, along with the casting of the Three Eyed Raven, means that they'll be jumping straight on to the events of that book where Bran is concerned, as his character doesn't feature in A Feast For Crows. The Children Of The Forest are a legendary people of Westeros, strange elf-like creatures that appear childlike but are actually quite old.

People will be cast. This is a fact. Styr, the Magnar of Thenn, The Red Viper, Mace Tyrell. Are these spoilers as well?

No. No they're not. You're just whining because you imagine that you can watch a show without ANY prior knowledge, even though you frequent news sites like this one for whatever tidbits you can dredge up. Doesn't seem too reasonable to me.

I'm sorry but how can you compare something like Ned Starks Death and the Red Wedding (which are legitimate spoilers) to something like the children of the forest theres no mention of PLOT. Just that an actor has been cast in a role.
