As with the first trailer sneak peeks, there'll probably be quite a few of these released over the next couple of hours so be sure to check back as we update.

"In the wake of the Red Wedding, how does the North pick up the pieces and with their greatest enemy seemingly crushed, where does that leave the Lannisters. Daenerys Targaryen now has an army but is she ready to take back her homeland. Does Jon Snow turn south to seek revenge or remember his duty along the Wall?"

Game Of Thrones returns for its fourth season on April 6.

They look like this now...

@batz

Look awesome. The concept art I posted above does look somewhat more demonic. Like if you were to imagine an evil as [frick] dragon, it would be THAT.

Honestly, I actually quite like how people are design dragons now with a bat-like structure as oppose to four legs and wings.

batz11 - 2/14/2014, 2:25 PM
Yeah, that concept art one is awesome, I like the 'batz' like (ok, that was lame) features too, walkin' on their wings, bad-ass...

I'm happy with the GofT version above, was shocked to see they're that big already!

Reign of Fire was pretty damn cool too...

Smaug was cool, he was more serpent like though, as described in the books...

Smaug, if you ask me, was the greatest dragon in a film ever. Aside from the dialogue, voice acting, badassness and overall design, you could actually tell when he was getting agitated, bemused or enraged without even roaring insanely. As cool as the GoT dragons are you don't get that with them. I really, really doubt any dragon will topple Smaug anytime soon.

The point is, dragons are [frick]ing awesome.

"I am fire, I am... DEATH"

SMAUG FTW!!!

Anyways, I really want to get into this show. Never find anytime to watch it, and as much as I hate watching stuff online, I might NEED to for this show.

I liked how they did Sauron in these films except for the [frick]ing armor and making him an eye. Fellowship, my favorite, is probably the best as we constantly feel his presence, the eye is a symbol and we even hear him speak. Still, hated the over the top armor. Would of preferred something akin to this for Dark Lord Sauron:

I agree.

But that's only a Minor issue of a GREAT movie.

Yeah... I felt they got down Sauron's presence and fear pretty well in Fellowship (aside from his armor appearance) though after that... eh... we didn't hear his voice anymore or the fear and Jackson has Sauron literally be the Eye. The lack of presence and fear he had in the other two films made me feel little impact when Barad Dur finally fell.

Honestly, my only problem with ROTK was the ending. We didn't get a good enough understanding of the undying lands. Hell, the book didn't even give a good understanding. I had to read the Silmarillion to find out and really understand.

I do really like the film trilogy but a lot of things bothered me, like the portrayal of the Nazguls, Helm's Deep and the way the final battle was handled at the Black Gate.

Evil was so badass during the First Age. Morgoth himself is the evil badass of badassness with a brutal field commander in Gothmog and a deceiving, strategic lieutenant in Sauron. I do like how despite being grand evils, Morgoth and Sauron weren't invincible. Morgoth got owned by an elf and humiliated by a spider (granted she was amped up on magic steroids from a tree) and Sauron was held hostage at one point.

Klone - 2/14/2014, 6:10 PM
Out of curiosity MrCBM, who do you prefer, Morgoth or Sauron? Not who'd win a fight because we know the answer to the question. Only wondering which only you prefer more. The destructive evil of Morgoth or the manipulative, deceiving evil of Sauron?
MrCBM56
MrCBM56 - 2/14/2014, 6:11 PM
You didn't like Helm's Deep battle? I loved it.

But I can see why you don't like Black Gate. It was a lot going on in that battle, and the anticipation for the battle kept going lower and lower. It seemed like it didn't want to start lol, Aragon speech dragged.
MrCBM56
MrCBM56 - 2/14/2014, 6:13 PM
I got to go with Sauron. The damage he did really did damage. Mentally and physically.

Klone - 2/14/2014, 6:14 PM
@MrCBM

Black Gate was more of a visual thing. Helm's Deep was a'ight to me but shit like jumping into a horde of thousands of orcs and killing them all like nothing and the elaborateness of it kinda bothered me.
