Last ep was the first good one. Maybe it's turning the corner. About here is where we would see any type of turn-around/reaction to fan complaints as the previous episodes were already in the can.

Joss' shows have always taken a year to find there footing. I just hope it makes it to a second season. I don't want another group of fans wondering 10 years later what could have been.

six episodes in, we have Maria Hill, Phil Coulson, Nick Fury, Graviton, Jasper Sitwell. Victoria Hand around the corner too.

This show is getting better and better... I think the whole season is going to lead up to one big punch line making everything tie together nicely. I also think they are experimenting for now, and they ALWAYS have the option of throwing in a kick ass Marvel character to keep the show a float. Plus I'm sure they have an epic budget to make it go a couple of seasons. After all, its technically just a commercial for their movies.

Isn't this show suppose to take place right after Avengers. While each of the phase 2 movies are set in different times after the invasion of NY with Captain America the winter soldier being the only one to take place right after The Avengers? Whats the timeline of this show in comparison with the movies? Piss poor writing for a Marvel show that should be better. How are they talking about things from 2 movies in phase 2 that would have to of happened after the events in Winter Soldier. This show is one long advetisement for the MCU and that's all it seems to be freaking worthless. MY OPINION.

@tadrob, that's a lie.

From the moment you saw Buffy the Vampire Slayer you knew they had something there. You really liked Willow and Xander (still want Fitz-Simmons dead); Angel was interesting (Ward is boring); Giles oozed charisma (Coulson is fine but Clark Gregg is no Tony Head) and I guess there isn't a match for May but she's just there anyway. I will say that Skye does have the Buffy feel for me but she just needs more development. Actually the show should put most of the focus on Skye and put everyone else in the background and kill Fitz-Simmons.

But back on point. Firefly was a great show from the start, it just didn't pull in the general audience. Dollhouse's early episode were not stellar but they were interesting enough to keep you coming back and were good. It definitely was really good towards its finale. Angel was also good and became great later.

So Joss' shows have been good to great from the beginning. AoS is just not good right now. So imo it's starting out at a lower level than all of Joss' previous shows. Right now it nees to become good and then maybe later it will be great.

@ParisSun

The first few episodes of Dollhouse were pretty poor and repetitive. I got bored and stopped watching, and only caught up when a friend of mine told me it got really good towards the end.

Also Buffy's first season was awful. Go back and watch that, its almost painful.

So I have faith AoS will get better. I reckon it will be fantastic by the end of the season, but my worry is that there won't be an audience by then to see it.

@grif

Change the record, it's been like two years. Joke's not funny any more.

They missed the mark on this, AoS was not the best platform to introduce the MCU to the small screen. To small. I hope it succeeds and prompts them to put more shows out there, and if it doesn't, hope it doesn't stop them from trying again with something more interesting and dynamic.

@battabing Don't be mad because DCCU doesn't have it yet. Look its way better this way. Everyone tying in. Without the overarching universe characters become far more boring. For instance batman. He has had his villains done about 2 times each. We are getting sick and tired of him now, so what do they do? Put him in a shared universe were we see a totally different side of him were he can work with others.

THIS SHOW WILL DIE IF THEY DON'T START FEATURING SOME MARVEL HEROS. Just some minor characters would do the trick:

Wood God
Longshot
Shang-Chi
Penance
Sleepwalker
Sepulchre
Mockingbird
Silverclaw
Machine Teen
Mettle

There are TONS of B-level characters what twill never be used in a Marvel movie but who could really provide some great context to the show and fill out the TV universe AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, keep people watching.

Come on Marvel: DO IT before you lose the show.
