   Hey guys,
I was watching Agents of SHIELD and something Coulson said made me think about the Obelisk. So I paused and came here to write. What if the Obelisk is just a housing unit for an Infinity Stone? The Obelisk is a known alien artifact. It has ties to the Inhumans. And it only lets a free select people touch.

I am not a huge Marvel buff, and don't know how related Infinity Stones and Kree are. I think the Kree were in possession of the stone, got in trouble, and put it into the Obelisk and on Earth. That Kree that saved Coulson and Skye's life is the one who brought it here. Inside the Obelisk is the Infinity Stone, and the Infinity Stone is only able to be pulled out of the Obelisk by someone with Kree blood.

It is just a fun theory. It would be a great way to tie the show into the MCU without forcing it. It would be organic. What do you think of this theory?

I don't think it's very likely that they'll use an object from the show as an infinity stone

The terrigen bomb is most likely in the temple.
The obelisk is a weapon to activate it.

It could be an infinity stone indeed. Coulson compared it to the tessaract when talking about the obelisk with Skye's dad.

I think its a Terrigen Crystal which releases the terrigen bomb.

I think you're not to far off but it's definitely a terrigen crystal that ties into the terrigen bomb which releases the terrigen mist which transforms people with hidden kree DNA into Inhumans. I am so pumped that Marvel is exploring the mythos of the Inhumans and that they have found a great way to side step Fox and the Xmen by still being able to bring in mutants without actually having mutants in the MCU.

Skye's dad said that it was a key. Highly doubt it contains an Infinity Stone.
