Charlie explains Daredevil to Letterman.
"It's a new collaboration between Marvel and Netflix.  And Daredevil is one of the most beloved superheroes.  He's blind, which is interesting - his disability is his strength.  As a 9-year-old boy, he was blinded in  a road accident where he was saving an old man crossing the street.  There was a chemical spillage that went into his eyes and the byproduct of that accident is that his senses were heightened to such a degree that he can operate better than a seeing-person. "

On how the Netflix-model will benefit the show.
"We're very much encouraged to talk about binge-watching.  I think [binge-watching] increases viewership.  It seems to be a proven model with the way people like to watch television these days.  They like to choose how many episodes they watch and when they watch them. "

Will there be more Daredevil?
"I don't know, I hope so.  They're going to release the first 13 on April 10 at 12:01 AM.  If everyone watches it, binge-watches it....."

MARVEL'S DAREDEVIL stars Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Rosario Dawson and Vincent D'Onofrio. Steven S. DeKnight served as executive producer in addition to writing and directing the series finale. Drew Goddard contributed to the story before departing the project for Sony's Sinister Six film. Christos Gage, Ruth Gage, Luke Kalteux and Douglas Petrie also wrote additional episodes. Daredevil will be released on April 10.
