Charlie explains Daredevil to Letterman.
"It's a new collaboration between Marvel and Netflix.  And Daredevil is one of the most beloved superheroes.  He's blind, which is interesting - his disability is his strength.  As a 9-year-old boy, he was blinded in  a road accident where he was saving an old man crossing the street.  There was a chemical spillage that went into his eyes and the byproduct of that accident is that his senses were heightened to such a degree that he can operate better than a seeing-person. "

On how the Netflix-model will benefit the show.
"We're very much encouraged to talk about binge-watching.  I think [binge-watching] increases viewership.  It seems to be a proven model with the way people like to watch television these days.  They like to choose how many episodes they watch and when they watch them. "

Will there be more Daredevil?
"I don't know, I hope so.  They're going to release the first 13 on April 10 at 12:01 AM.  If everyone watches it, binge-watches it....."

MARVEL'S DAREDEVIL stars Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Rosario Dawson and Vincent D'Onofrio. Steven S. DeKnight served as executive producer in addition to writing and directing the series finale. Drew Goddard contributed to the story before departing the project for Sony's Sinister Six film. Christos Gage, Ruth Gage, Luke Kalteux and Douglas Petrie also wrote additional episodes. Daredevil will be released on April 10.

Letterman needs to retire. He spends 3 minutes talking about the guy's illness and then keeps saying "The" Netflix.

Retire, dude.

This series will raise the bar that was lowered by Arrow. Finally we will see what a non super powered vigilante TV show should look like.

This will be the 1st of it's kind.

Only 10 more days cant wait Charlie seems like a great guy and the perfect actor for the role. I'm glad 13 episodes are all released at once. That will be cool. It will be exciting if Daredevil crosses over in a New Avengers film in future if its successful. I would like to see him interact with Black Widow and Cap would be cool.

charlie is an incredible actor and a great guy.

also isn't it kinda strange how people dissed Andrew Garfield for being british before the release of TASM and how nobody is dissing charlie for the same reason as Garfield? weird right?

I really can't wait for this show. And I really, really, really hope they go with Frank Miller's "Born Again" sage. Best Daredevil story ever, and imho, best Frank Miller work ever.

@ ProfOj I really, really hope so. I have my fingers crossed.

I can't think of any reason why they wouldn't be able to pull it off, but as you probably know they definitely haven't said anything publicly about it yet.
