Daredevil works really hard to fight crime on his city streets, but it seems as though he never took the time to fight crime online. Ever since Netflix released the full season of Daredevil on their streaming-video service (which cost less than 10 bucks per month), it has become the second most pirated show only trailing behind HBO's "Game of Thrones." So, what were the numbers? Just how many people downloaded the episode illegally? According to Excipio via Variety, over 2.1 million individuals have downloaded the episodes via torrent networks. Two million? That's a lot of people right? Yes, it is, but if you are a fan of the Game of Thrones series I'll let you know that people have illegally downloaded episodes from that series 6.5 million times!
Now that we have the numbers out of the way, which nations led the way in these illegal downloads? Check out the list below.
1. Brazil - 190,274
2. India - 149,316
3. United States- 144,351
4. United Kingdom - 119,891
5. France - 105,473
6. Australia - 101,025
Well there you have it! Most likely because of this, Marvel and Netflix will get together and make season two of Daredevil be titled, "Daredevil Vs. The Pirates!" But hey, even if the number are revealed to all, it won't stop this act from taking place. That's a problem only Netflix and Marvel can solve. What do you think about this?
