HAWKEYE's Pizza Dog Meets GOTG HOLIDAY SPECIAL's Cosmo In Best Photo You'll See This Thanksgiving Weekend

On Friday, Marvel Studios released The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, an absolute masterpiece of a Christmas special. While it primarily revolved around Drax and Mantis' attempt to kidnap actor Kevin Bacon, it also set the stage for next May's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

While Cosmo made a brief cameo appearance in 2014's Guardians of the Galaxy, she (yes, she) took on a supporting role in the second Marvel Studios Special Presentation. Played by Borat Subsequent Moviefilm standout Maria Bakalova, the adorable telekinetic pooch is expected to play a lead role in the upcoming threequel.

Last Christmas on Disney+, we were watching Hawkeye, another MCU adventure set during the holidays. That introduced Lucky the Pizza Dog, played by Jolt, and it's now been confirmed that she's friends with Slate, the dog who plays Cosmo!

They were recently photographed together and we're sure you'll agree the snap below is the sweetest thing you'll see this Thanksgiving weekend. While we know Cosmo will be back in May, there's still no official word on plans for Kate Bishop; however, the new Hawkeye is bound to be joined by Lucky when she returns.

With an increased number of animals in the MCU, including Alligator Loki, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings' Morris, and Howard the Duck, we can't help but think Marvel Studios has plans to assemble the Pet Avengers.

We're sure Lucky and Cosmo would be part of that, and it has all the makings of a great Special Presentation. Logistically it might be tough, so perhaps an animated take on the team makes the most sense? Either way, we'd love to see more of these two on screen, and will be keeping our fingers crossed it happens.

That Rain rain rain rain rain deer deer deer deer deer part is catch as hell, especially with that corny guitar move. Instantly classic.

Peter's reactions were quality too.

The movie was fun, Mantis was the break out, she leveled up in this, and her and Peter hugging at the end was all the Christmas feels.

This is gonna be one I try with my mom, who loves Christmas movies, even ones like the live action Grinch.
