James Gunn Would Consider Directing A Marvel-Netflix Show Under Certain Conditions

We've recently heard about James Gunn's role in the filming of a few Stan Lee cameos, but now Gunn has revealed that he would be open to directing a Marvel series... if the conditions were right.

Right now James Gunn is still busy working on Guardians of The Galaxy Volume 2, but that hasn't stopped him from doing another Facebook live video. In the video Gunn was asked whether he would be open to directing any episodes of Marvel's existing Netflix shows. His response shoots down that possibility, but leaves the door open for something else:

Gunn: "If it was under the right circumstances, maybe. But it would never be one that is preexisting; it would have to be the pilot of a new show."

So, what do you folks think? Would you be up for a James Gunn directed Netflix show?

Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

I just had to get it off my chest; I feel like Gunn's kinda full of himself these days. He can't praise or criticize something without pumping himself/GOTG up. "They could have done better like I did...", "They did really good like I did..." type-thing. Love his work but yes, that sort of attitude has befallen him lately.
