New JESSICA JONES Promo Continues To Tease The DAREDEVIL Connection

All 13 episodes of Marvel's Jessica Jones are currently available to stream on Netflix, but the promotion continues with this teaser containing all-new footage of Miss Jones contemplating a Nelson And Murdock card. A hint as to how they'll cross paths in the future, perhaps?

SPOILERS ahead for those that haven't completed Jessica Jones yet.

Though it was rumored that Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock would show up at some point on the first season of Jessica Jones, those that have watched all 13 episodes will know that wasn't to be. We did get to see Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson) again, but aside from a reference or two the Man Without Fear was nowhere to be seen. Still, this new promo teases the inevitable first meeting between Daredevil and Krysten Ritter's superpowered private Investigator.

The vid was posted to the Jessica Jones Twitter account, but I think at this point we can assume this latest batch of promos are for the Netflix Marvel shows in general, and are highlighting the fact that they're all connected as we head towards The Defenders.

Have you finished the first season of Jessica Jones yet? Have you started it? let us know what you think in the usual place.

Is this false advertising? I mean nothing involving Nelson & Murdock was shown in Jessica Jones.

I'm still confused how Matt didn't show up since he lives down the block.

I really hope this teases something for season 2 of Daredevil, or better yet season 2 of Jessica Jones, although that is highly doubtful considering it premiered 3 days ago.

It was amazing. Way better than DD to me personally. I think the ones complaining the most are butthurt purists waiting for Captain America to show up (or be mentioned by name) GTFO!

This was brilliance.

@Ineedrevelation

Yes and yes.

But if you look, the Avengers tower is on the right of Daredevil and the left of Jessica Jones

I mean given the distance and the fact both shows take place in Hell's Kitchen, not like they couldn't be right next to each other.

I for one don't care if any Avengers don't turn up in DD, JJ & Defenders...in it's own right...these stories must have a Good reason for any Movie actors to make cameos...Avengers will always go for the Big fish while DD types clean up the local streets...

Kinda funny how they tease Daredevil in all these promos yet he isn't even really mentioned in the entirety of the show itself.

All he gets is a remark from Claire temple when she says to Jessica Jones "I can call a guy..." or something along those lines.

That's it.

Ultimately, I think Jessica Jones is stronger for not having a substantial Daredevil crossover, but I really would have liked to see Nelson and Murdock bump into Hogarth at the prison or something. Just have Foggy say something sarcastic to her and Hogarth gloat about outmaneuvering them in a case or something. No crossover with Jessica Jones herself, but a brief inconsequential cameo would have been nice.

As Doom said, though. if there's a Season 2 all bets are off.

This, something as simple as this would've been great on the show to show that both Jessica Jones and Daredevil exist in the same side of the MCU. No one would've needed a scene where Daredevil shows up in costume to help Jones, we just would've liked a scene like the one highlighted above.

Why are people so butt hurt over not having matt Murdock in JJ when we know they are gonna be together in the defenders? We know it's coming people have some freaking patience

@LEVITIKUZ

Just cause you live in the same area or few blocks, doesn't necessarily mean you'll run into people... idk that would've felt forced. Now, I think she should've at least been shown walking by the Nelson and Murdock offices. That would've made sense. Or at least show her searching for local lawyerd and come across their number in the yellow pages or soemthing. Google them lol

I think they're saving the deeper connections and meet up between all the defenders as we get closer to DEFENDERS. As they threat they all have to combat gets closer...

JJ is poor as shit. She couldn't afford Nelson & Murdock's retainer.

Matt was mentioned by Claire. Obviously she didn't say his name but he was mentioned when she was looking after Cage.
Pasto

I mean lets think about, part of Jessica Jones is more or less a court drama that involves a bunch of lawyers and cases that are connected to Killgrave. Jessica Jones spends 50% of her time hanging around Hogarth, a prestigious lawyer. It's like the writers set everything up for a surprise cameo from Nelson and Murdock, but overall failed.

Pasto - 11/24/2015, 7:42 AM
It's like if Flash had an episode where they spent most of their time talking about aliens hiding among us, and a glowing green rock, and even reporting for a news paper, but never had a cameo or appearance from Superman himself.

I thought Jessica Jones was a little bit better then Daredevil. But both were awesome!! To me...JJ had better music..cooler villian..and the character develeopment and just how the show flowed was a great pace. Luke Cage is a beast.

But..they could have at least showed Matt Murdock just meeting Jessica.

@ComicsBornAndBred

I'm just saying, given how posts scenes are similarity shot with them in a street corner in Hell's Kitchen and the Avengers tower on the right of Matt and on the left of Jessica and how the apartment building when Claire is in the shot on the right sort of matches the building on the left of Jessica Jones that shot wise, it does look like Jessica is basically one block over.

@blackandyellow According to Google maps reviews Jessica charges a lot. Sos he might not be all that poor.

Or an episod of Arrow where the episode's entire plot is about billionaires, caves, and a crazed madman dressed up as a clown...but they never mention the Dark Knight.

My point is the show had several occasions where the set the environment up perfectly for there to be a simple name drop for Nelson and Murdock, but nothing came of it.

I love how asking for the simplest of cameos in a tv show that is connected to a gigantic and cosmic universe is asking to much from the standards of some of the people on this thread.
