JESSICA JONES Season 3 Character Breakdowns May Reveal The Identity Of The Show's Next Villain

The second season of Marvel and Netflix's Jessica Jones only premiered fairly recently, but we already have details on some of the new characters that'll be introduced in season 3. More past the jump...

Netflix has already given the green light to a third season of Jessica Jones, and thanks to some new breakdowns courtesy of That Hashtag Show, we might have a pretty good idea who'll be causing trouble for our hard-drinking hero when she returns to our screens.

As usual, the characters' true identities have been obscured by code-names, but have a read through and see if the descriptions ring any bells.

[ELLIOTT] Mid 30s-early 40s, male, open ethnicity. Must be over 5'11. A charismatic gambler and alcoholic. Attractive, quick-witted and dry. His edgy charm comes through even in the direst circumstances. SERIES REGULAR - ONE YEAR DEAL

[COLLINS] 30-50, male, open ethnicity. He is physically spry, extremely intelligent and meticulous. Driven by a pathological need to feel superior. SERIES REGULAR - ONE YEAR DEAL

[KEIRA] 48-52, female, please submit African American, Latina, Asian, Native American, etc. A bohemian cellist and music professor. Intelligent, wry and sexy. Self possessed and able to weather any storm. SERIES REGULAR - POSSIBLE TWO YEAR DEAL

[ZELDA] 27-31, female, African American, strong, smart and driven. A rising star in her profession with the ambition and talent to propel her to the top one day. She's earthy, beautiful, supportive and fiercely protective of those she loves. SERIES REGULAR - MULTI-YEAR DEAL

While there are no clear indications that any of these guys will be established Marvel Comics characters, THS reckons "Collins" might be Curtiss Jackson, a.k.a. The Power Broker.

This would certainly make sense to the overarching plot, which focused on the experiments performed by Karl Malus and IGH. In the comics, Malus worked for Jackson and the two offered to enhance the strength and endurance of anyone willing to pay for it.

Could we even see the introduction of Unlimited Class Wrestling Federation, perhaps?

Let us know what you think, and check out the video below to find out who some of those other characters could turn out to be.

I’m not too familiar with Jones’ rogues gallery but I have been a HUGE fan of her Netflix series.

Season 2 of Jessica Jones was the first Marvel Netflix show I watched all the way through since Daredevil Season 2. So whatever they decide to do, and wherever they decide to go: I’m there!

Never heard of power broker before, but if it's comic accurate to this, I'm in.

The Power Broker would be a great way to go.

Season 2 had some great moments, but it was a bit disappointing overall. Still think it was better than LC, IF and The Defenders.

Much as I'd like to see the character in DD's show: Typhoid Mary would make for a great chemistry.

@Kevwebsz - Amen to that brother. I was so upset when they revealed that gained some kind of powers in the end. Like the fact that she actually got what she wanted was so awful, what a terrible character..

Its sounding like people here were pretty down on Season 2 of Jessica Jones, was it the slower burn for the season or just that people wanted an antagonist like Killgrave again?

I loved the second season, and I admit when it was revealed who the villain was I rolled my eyes but then they ended up doing some really interesting stuff with her and Jessica.

Although now I mention it, I recall a lot of people found the first season boring which is just perplexing to me.

@FromACertainPOV - I like season 1 and like even more, season 2. I think what people here (this place has mostly men) don't like is what you suggest- the slow burn. But also the very human-story they tell with Jessica Jones. I've seen several folks say they wish it was more comic book'y. I enjoy the fact thesecharacters aren't perfect and have flaws. Trish was pissing me off but by the end, I see what they did. She's not the boring best friend/sidekick. SHe truly is her own flawed character who is head strong and full of conviction.

The mom was scary af. Not sadistic scary like Purple man but scary in a I'm-bipolar-with-killer-tendencies-and-the-strength-of-an-Ox

Well I had some gifs up saying that after season 2, my response to season 3 is "no chance", "no," and "God no." I will not waste 13 hours of my life again on a horrible season.

I'm firmly in the LOVED season 2 camp. Interesting how divided people's opinions are here about the show.
