LOKI Episode 2 Ends With A Major Cliffhanger As [SPOILER]'s Role Is FINALLY Revealed

What. An. Episode. The second instalment of Loki proved to be every bit as fantastic as the first with a massive cliffhanger ending that finally shed some light on who [SPOILER] is playing in the series...

Last week's episode of Loki ended with the reveal that there's another Variant of the God of Mischief who has been causing chaos in the sacred timeline, killing members of the Time Variance Authority and stealing their tech.

Well, today's instalment sees the hunt for that mysterious villain begin, with Loki and Mobius teaming up to track him down. After finding the Variant in a Roxxcart store in 2050, The Avengers villain is forced to battle people who are being mind-controlled by his doppelganger, though he's quick to praise the "inferior" Loki for his impressive enchantments.

"Enchantment is a clever trick," the newly minted TVA agent tells the other Loki (who is controlling Hunter B-15 at this point). It feels like that line could be important, especially when this Variant removes their hood to reveal that he is actually a she

It's Sophia Di Martino as a character who appears to be Lady Loki, though we can't help but wonder whether she's going to be a cross between the God of Mischief and Enchantress. It's worth noting that the actress is only credited as "The Variant" at the end of the episode, so don't be surprised if there's another twist on the way.

Check out a first look at Di Martino's Lady Loki below:

Another great episode, solid 9/10. Definitely can see why they emphasized 'gender fluidity' while promoting this show, lol.

Someone on Twitter posted a screenshot of the actor credits of one of the foreign languages and it said SYLVIE for the one voicing "Lady Loki".

Sylvie Luchton is a character in the 616 universe that becomes Enchantress. Loki said he wouldn't treat himself the way "Lady Loki" was treating him in the episode, and Lady Loki did say not to call her Loki.

@Roodi - According to IMDB, Cailey Fleming will play "Young Sylvie." I don't know if she is the girl from the cathedral, but manipulating time offers us that possibility. E Grant's Loki may be the cathedral assassin and when Sylvie talks to Mobius, she obeys Loki. So, Loki is Sylvie's master. He teaches her the mystical arts.

@Repian - that sounds like a possibility

That depiction of 2050 was off, It was just a wet 2013. Distracting.

If there is something I learned from previous Marvel projects, it's more often than not actually what we're getting. So I'm sticking to Lady Loki for now.

How can you look at her and say lady Loki when it's more obvious Amora?

@BritishMonkey - Because the whole Lady Loki thing is just speculation. There's no truth or evidence for it. But it's a theory that stuck a lot more than Amora, due to the fact that Loki is hunting variants of himself.

@globaltravels - Even then lady Loki would be a brunette.
Of all the evil blonde sorcoresses in Asgard, lady Loki would be the last person I'd think of.

I'm loving this show. Every is very well thought out.
I'm definitely in the ball park that this is a version of the Enchantress, either Amora or Sylvie.

Not loving the series so far. Don't hate either. Very meh. Too much exposition and not enough intrigue.
