There's been chatter about Evan Peters having a role in WandaVision for months, and it seems those rumors have been confirmed today. The Spanish actor, Rodri Martin, who has previously dubbed Peters in the translated X-Men films took to Twitter over the weekend to reveal that he will reprise the role in this Disney+ series. Since then, he's made his account private and deleted the Tweet.
The content of his post (see below) roughly translates to the actor mentioning the premiere of WandaVision on Friday, before noting that this is the first series where he will have the "privilege" of once again voicing Pietro. In other words, it does appear the Dark Phoenix star will reprise the role of Quicksilver in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
This is a massive leak, but what does it mean for the zany show?
Well, a sitcom trope is actors being recast without their change of appearance ever being mentioned, so perhaps this "Pietro" showing up with be a tongue-in-cheek wink to that and Fox's X-Men franchise. A leaked Funko listing teased plans for a Vision/Quicksilver two-pack, and it might be fun for Wanda to welcome her brother back before realizing he's not the Pietro she lost.
Another possibility is that Peters is Mephisto in disguise, or that Marvel Studios plans to pluck this Quicksilver from the Multiverse and make him a permanent part of the MCU.
