AHSOKA's Latest Episode Featured A Huge STAR WARS Original Trilogy Cameo And [SPOILER]'s Return

Ahsoka's penultimate episode didn't deliver as many answers as expected, but it still included two massive cameos from some familiar faces fans have been positively overjoyed to see on the screen again.

Ahsoka's seventh episode, "Dreams and Madness," begins with Hera Syndulla forced to answer for her decision to ignore the New Republic's orders by travelling to Seaton in an effort to help Ahsoka Tano make her journey to Peridea.

Senator Xiono is out for blood and wants the former Rebel to be punished, but it's then we see a familiar droid enter the picture. Anthony Daniels' C-3PO makes an unexpected cameo appearance to inform Mon Mothma and her fellow Senators that Senator Leia Organa was responsible for giving Hera the go-ahead.

Revealed to be the leader of the Defence Council, her intervention (which admittedly bends the truth) proves vital for the Ghost pilot. During a brief conversation with Mon, we see that the Rebel Alliance's one-time leader is terrified of Grand Admiral Thrawn's possible return, further cementing him as a huge threat.

Elsewhere, we find Ahsoka Tano training aboard her ship and being mentored by a hologram of Hayden Christensen's Anakin Skywalker. Once again decked out in his Clone Wars armour, the Jedi offers his Padawan some words of advice and name-drops some familiar characters, including Count Dooku and General Grievous.

Finally Revealed As New Spoiler Stills And Promo Are Released

Ahsoka mentions that she has more than 20 of those recordings, so something tells us this might not be the last we see of Anakin.

Perhaps even more interesting, though, is Thrawn's reaction to learning Anakin was Ahsoka's Master. He appears genuinely disturbed and suggests she is likely to be "unpredictable and quite dangerous."

For those of you who have read Timothy Zahn's recent Thrawn novels, you'll know that the Grand Admiral actually met and teamed up with Anakin during The Clone Wars. He was also tasked with working alongside Darth Vader by Emperor Palpatine and successfully deduced that Anakin and the Sith Lord were one and the same.

What did you think about Ahsoka's surprise cameos? As always, you can share your thoughts with us in the usual place.

Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.

In addition to Rosario Dawson in the title role, the series stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, the late Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.

Ahsoka was written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Directors include Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel, and Rick Famuyiwa.

Seven of eight episodes of Ahsoka are now streaming on Disney+.

@KillerOfSaints - its 2023. Males are cutting off their connection to their lightsabers, and now girl bosses are the ones who get to wiggle around lightsabers. Equality and representation is the important.

@TheVandalore - Jesus christ, y'all are so bitter. He's been practicing using the force without a lightsaber for, what, three years? Guarantee you he's run into those bandits before, and he's survived this long dispatching them unarmed. He'd be more comfortable without it.

@ClintThaHamster - You realize these arent just.... events happening, right? Writers create this stuff. They have made these decisions. Its not like every male Jedi just happens to lose there Lightsabers... whoopsy daisy... just a coincidence there isnt a single Male Jedi currently active in any of the Disney era Star Wars content, save for Kal tucked away in his video games, far away from TV or Film. The Force is female isnt a term made up by haters like "The MsheU" was made up by haters.... The Force is Female was literally their initiative, their slogan, their agenda if i may be so bold to imply.

And we arent man babies crying about women getting screen time, we are adults wise enough to see an agenda has hijack the entertainment, compromises arent being made for the betterment of the material but rather to make idiots feel empowered, and painfully shitty written girl bosses are being lazily thrown into just about every single project in Hollywood these days, and its ruining good films and shows. Only idiots need their entertainment to preach to them, most people just want to enjoy themselves without being reminded we live in a world full of complaining pussies.

@TheVandalore - "just a coincidence there isnt a single Male Jedi currently active in any of the Disney era Star Wars content"
Well, currently there are no Jedi active, yeah? Unless you count Obi Wan's show, or Luke popping up in Mandalorian and Boba Fett, which I guess you're not. If you're counting Ahsoka, that's one female Jedi. Two if you include Rey. Pretty small sample set. But Ahsoka's show has just brought Ezra and Jacen into live action, which I'm sure will portend all kinds of Jedi action in coming years.

But to the implication that this somehow indicates a sinister plot against male representation, I'll ask you this: was it a sinister plot against women when there were zero female Jedi main characters in the first 38 years of live-action Star Wars?

I get him being cagey after learning she was taught by Anakin. ‘Oh the guy who taught you is a lunatic who murdered a bunch of children and ended up in a robot suit for no reason? Yeah keep an eye on this one’

So good to hear Tony Daniels back as C-3PO. I wonder if that was him in the costume too. Kinda moved like him, but his body shape seems to have changed slightly.

Filoni just gets Star Wars. Slowly but surely I'm getting really hyped about his Star Wars movie.

The fact that they keep focusing on Ezra saying he "can't wait to get home" just tells me that Ezra will NOT be making it back to the home galaxy anytime soon, as well as the air being murky about whether he even survives the series.
