THE MANDALORIAN: Check Out Some Spoiler Stills From Today's Episode Of The Disney+ Series

By now, we're sure you've read our review of The Mandalorian's latest episode, The Jedi," and checked out that spoiler-filled recap. It goes without saying that this latest instalment is one we'll be talking about for a while, and we can now relive some key moments thanks to these new stills.

Unfortunately, there's no sign of Rosario Dawson's Ahsoka Tano, but those images will more than likely be released on Monday (along with a character poster featuring the fan-favourite former Jedi).

There's still a lot to delve into here, as we see Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) arrive in Calodan and come face-to-face with Diana Lee Inosanto and Michael Biehn's villains. While their plans were never fully explored here, "The Jedi" does ultimately make it clear who they're working for, and it's a legit shocker (that's also a huge spoiler, though, so be sure to click here if you want to learn more).

The Mandalorian's second season is definitely heating up as the story progresses, and you can view the hi-res versions of these stills from the latest episode by clicking on each of the images below.

Oh, and if you'd like to see Ahsoka in all her glory, head over to that article here.

I know this isn't going to happen, but, they should just make the new trilogy not canon. Mandalorian and the other spin-offs could have soo much freedom to create new stories post Rotj and get it right this time.
The thing that annoys the most is that i'm really excited for all those stories they're setting up with Mandalorian, but then i remember the sequel trilogy and that just screw everything up bc soon the Frist Order, Luke going into hiding and all that crap will begin.

@ImNotaBot - Nah. The new trilogy should stay canon.

@SnideCut - No, it's mostly garbage, and although I am sure they won't strike it from canon, they really should. It's an insult to Star Wars and a middle finger to its fans

@Elle79 - The prequels were colossal hunks of garbage but eventually people mined some entertaining bits from them and we got today’s episode.

@Chewtoy - i beg to differ. The prequels were flawed as far as dialogue and overuse of SFX, but the narrative was spot on. The Sequel Trilogy was a choose your own adventure made by each director. If they could somehow use The Mandalorian to destroy the Sequels as being canon, that would do wonders for SW. Have the Child go to the World Between Worlds and do something that accidentally truly kills the emperor or something and voila, no more sequels.

ImNotaBot - 11/27/2020, 9:22 AM
@Chewtoy - Yes but they are prequels, we already knew the future of the universe and it was really good. Now we know that after Mandalorian we have all that shit storm.
They can't expand to much without touching on the sequels moving forward two or three seasons.
And what plot and characters you can mine from the sequel trilogy? they are all shit

@Philvis - Agreed!

@Chewtoy - The prequels had MAJOR issues, I agree, but are still far superior to the sequel trilogy. It's not even close in my mind, and in the mind of most real fans of the franchise.

@Philvis - You said it perfectly.

@Philvis - Sorry, but as a fan who saw the original films as they each came out, and then had 16 years where every existing theatrical Star Wars film was considered quality until the prequels came and dumped on that record, I can’t come close to agreeing. The narratives of those films were atrocious, the characters flat, the dialog laughable. They’re hot garbage.

Yeah, I get that a whole generation grew up on them and couldn’t tell how shitty they were, but they were shit. Get used to the idea that 15-20 years from now you’ll have to hear how the sequels really weren’t bad from today’s kids... at least compared to whatever people hate then.

Chewtoy - 11/27/2020, 3:58 PM
@ImNotaBot - I mean, the prequel characters suck too. People are excited to see Ashoka, a character who was never in the prequel films, because people came along after the prequels and told some decent stories with the Clone Wars and the like. Who knows what someone may someday weave into the sequels that might be decent?

@Chewtoy - though I mostly agree that someone could come along to make the sequel trilogies clone wars, it’s important to remember that the prequels, although hot trash were a big swing and a miss but still introduced a lot of new ideas and directions to go. Unfortunately the sequel trilogy mostly ends in the exact same place as the originals but with a different cast.

This episode was too good. I kinda hope they don't spin off Ahsoka, and they just have her show up and help Mando every now and then. Luke is definitely gonna have a presence. Bringing in Thrawn is genius too

@Edunath - I didn’t realize that was Michael Biehn until the final confrontation with Mando. Once I did, I was happy to see that he was going to walk away and maybe be seen another day...

This episode looked so [frick]ing good. Really like the japanese vibe it head. And the way scenes were shot similar to animation worked really good.

Lot of the shots were like paintings. Definitely my favorite looking episode since Chapter 10.
