By now, we're sure you've already watched The Mandalorian's season two premiere...and what an episode, eh? Titled "The Marshal," there were plenty of surprises, and we broke those down a little earlier today. Unfortunately, Lucasfilm has yet to share any official shots of Cobb Vanth or Boba Fett, but we do have some other stills which highlight a number of key moments.

Din Djarin made short work of Gor Koresh, but what you might not know is that it was Ice Age and Kick-Ass 2 star John Leguizamo who voiced the nefarious gangster.

We also get to see the bounty hunter's reunion with Peli Motto (Amy Sedaris) on Tatooine, a glorious shot of The Child, Din confronting the Weequay bartender in Mos Pelgo, and a meeting with some Tusken Raiders (who have definitely been redeemed somewhat thanks to this series).

In season two, the Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire. The Mandalorian stars Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers and Giancarlo Esposito, and the first three are highlighted here alongside The Child.

Might be a dumb question since I don't know much about Star Wars lore, but what were those red-eyes creatures at the beginning of the episode? I liked the vibe of that locale, but I just really wanna know what those creatures were lmao

I actually loved this episode. Sure it doesn’t pickup any of the thread plot lines from season 1 but it was still a great episode on its own.

@PantherKing - you can tell they had two options for the premiere; continue the plot of the end of season one... or go full in with an episode absolutely exploding with fan service and just throwing money at every frame. Get Cobb Vanth in there. Get boba Fett in there. Get a krayt dragon in there! [frick] it also throw a pearl in there for KOTOR fans... man. Favreau went to town in all the best ways. Even that aspect ration change was epic.

@globaltravels - I loved every minute of it. Here’s hoping the rest of the season keeps it up.

@globaltravels - I wouldn’t be surprised if the Starmap was inside the Krayt dragon’s cave with how much that was like Kotor.

I think most, not all, most of the trailer was in episode 1.

@marvel72 - no ice planet, no water planet, no Navarro, no x wings... there’s a lot not in this episode... but I will admit this episode made up most of the trailer

[frick] it, we need a Mandalorian game like a cross between Red Dead, Ghost of Tsushima, and whatever Star Wars games already exist.
