THE MANDALORIAN Season 3 Finale Concept Art And Spoiler Stills Highlight The Episode's Biggest Moments

The season 3 finale of The Mandalorian delivered a satisfying conclusion to an admittedly divisive year for the Disney+ series, but was thankfully, far from a disappointment. Din Djarin's war with Moff Gideon is at an end and Mandalore is free to rise again, stories we're sure will be explored when the show returns for its planned fourth season.

Behind Moff Gideon's Sinister Cloning Experiments - SPOILERS

Offering a closer look at Gideon's sinister cloning experiments as well as Axe Woves' brave defence of the Mandalorian fleet above the planet, we also see a Darksaber-wielding Bo-Katan Kryze leading the charge against the Empire. A number of moments from the finale's closing moments also receive the spotlight, including Din and Grogu's happy ending. 

As for those stills, they don't show off anything too major, but we should have more to share with you in a few days.

While "The Return" definitely tied up a lot of loose ends from season 3, we have a long list of questions for Jon Favreau that he'll hopefully answer in the weeks ahead. 

There are already some pretty wild theories about where the show could go from here, though the ending suggested the series will return to the format that made the first two seasons so popular. Could Gideon have somehow survived the events of this episode? We'll have some thoughts to share about that with you soon!
