I’m betting these are the last remaining plot holes that will get filled in by this show.

Am I missing anything else?

@IKidYouNotMan - everything have plot holes will they get answered is question

@IKidYouNotMan - I wouldn't be surprised if at least 2 of them are addressed in this series. Personally, I think the first one would be best solved by just slipping in the words "would have" to the dialogue in that scene.

As much as I respect George Lucas for telling the stories he wanted to tell with the prequels, it's hilarious how many blatant oversights he made in his interpretation of that era, especially when these really are such key emotional moments in the original trilogy.

@IKidYouNotMan - It's a bit odd that Leia didn't seem to know Obi-Wan on a New Hope. "General Kenobi, you served my father in the Clone Wars" If Kenobi helped her escape that would be her call back. Not Oh, apparently you served my father in the Clone Wars or something. She would definitely remember the time that Jedi saved her from Flea, and stopped her from falling to her death by using the Force.

@IKidYouNotMan - I think the first one could be explained by Obi Wan holding on to the idea of Anakin as the man who was friends with and saw as a brother, that Anakin would have wanted his son to have his light Sabre.

Leia won’t remember her biological mother so I think that line is fine

Last one, Vader could be referring to when Obi Wan encouraged him on Mustafer and saw that he had fallen.

So, to me, I never felt these were plot holes but I can see why some might be as the lie expands so do things become more complex
Yuhio
Yuhio - 5/29/2022, 11:52 AM
@IKidYouNotMan - Leia had a short Force bond with his mother at the time of her birth just like Padme had visions of Anakin suffering at the same time. So she does remember her, through "images, really — feelings." Fans underestimate Force bonds and visions throughout the saga.

IKidYouNotMan - 5/29/2022, 12:42 PM
@Knightrider - I didn’t have the exact gif of the clip but Leia responds to Luke with that question saying “She was very beautiful but also sad” I just have a feeling since she obviously displays empathy powers in the show, she’ll read Obi-Wan again and ask questions, not important just potential to put an more context to that line from RotJ.
IKidYouNotMan
IKidYouNotMan - 5/29/2022, 12:44 PM
@Yuhio - is this something that’s been established in a new canon or old canon novel? Sounds fine to me but they’ve displayed Leia using the force in this show with her reading everyone, I just think there’s potential for a moment with Kenobi where she reads him when he thinks about Padme.

“Why show us this? The camera does appear to linger on a Black female child who we believe could be Reva.”

I have said it before, I think that Reva will be the character with the arc.
Obi Wan starts the show on Tatoonie and ends the show on Tatoonie so he had no real arc.
Vaders starts the show as Vader and ends the show as Vader so he has no real arc.

The show is going to wind up being about Reva.
I’ll be shocked if I’m wrong, but I don’t think I am.
IKidYouNotMan
IKidYouNotMan - 5/28/2022, 12:29 PM
@SpaceParanoids - She’ll probably have a flashback where she sees Anakin at the temple slaughtering everyone, be angry at Obi-Wan since it was his apprentice, also angry at Anakin. Probably just a long game of revenge against two of the most popular Jedi war heroes in the order being responsible for the destruction of her home, maybe Vader and Kenobi team up against her at some point.

@Superspecialawesomeguy - Yeah reason im asking is I thought while watching this episode that people who prefer dogs over cats probably are more likely to dislike the kid

Those of you who knows the way of the force can you clue me in? There are always two sith's- one master and one apprentice. What are the others like Reva? She clearly knows how to use the force. Is she and others on the dark side self taught and what are they called? Do they use the dark side of the force or just the force in general, I mean how do you distinguish between the sides? They are obviously not jedi so what should you call them, force wielders?
ElvenKingSlayer
ElvenKingSlayer - 5/28/2022, 12:47 PM
@ElvenKingSlayer - Also- is anyone allowed to have a lightsaber? Not only a jedi and a sith. Is there any in-canon established rules for these kind of things?
SonOfAGif
SonOfAGif - 5/28/2022, 12:58 PM
@ElvenKingSlayer - The Inquisitors we're created by Vader & Palpatine as an answer to the remaining Jedi. The Inquisitors we're ex-Jedi or younglings so they are force wielders. But to be Sith there are only two. Master & Apprentice and eventually the Apprentice will betray their master to become the next Emperor. But Palpatine knew this and specifically set things in motion to have a constantly rotating internship of apprentices. Prior to Vader it was Count Dooku and Darth Maul before him. The Inquisitors work for the Sith but are not Sith.

GarthRanzz - 5/28/2022, 1:01 PM
@ElvenKingSlayer - Force wielders is fair. Not everyone who can connect to the force is a Jedi or a Sith. In fact some members of the Jedi Council thought the extremely powerful Anakin Skywalker should just stay on Tatootine. You also have Jedi that were expelled prior to Phantom Menance like Aurra Sing. Yes, you dont have to be a Jedi or Sith to wield a lightsaber. Now your degree of skill would be diminished. Han Solo and General Grievous both have wielded a light saber before to different degrees of skill. And Luke Skywalker yielded one before any type of training. However Lightsabers are extremely rare and to build one, one would have to be gifted with the force.

@ElvenKingSlayer - The light saber is my issue. Vader used a light saber I figured because he used to be a Jedi and just modified his to red. But when Luke met the Emperor the Emperor says, “a Jedi weapon,” meaning that Sith don’t use light sabers only Jedi.

But once Lucas made the prequels everybody and their brother had a light saber even the clumsy young kings that Yoda was teaching.

@SpaceParanoids - yeah everything seems to change depending on what the writers want

It does bend that rule of two some what but they’re called Inquisitors and they’re former Jedi turned Jedi hunters.
SonOfAGif
SonOfAGif - 5/28/2022, 12:59 PM
@IKidYouNotMan - The rule of two still applies. Think of it like a religion. The Pope is technically the Emperor. Vader would be a Cardinal to the Pope (Emperor). It's a hierarchy. The Inquisitors are basically the assassins of the Empire.
GarthRanzz
GarthRanzz - 5/28/2022, 1:03 PM
@IKidYouNotMan - Inquisitors arent Sith. I look at them similar to General Grievous (just force sensitive). For that matter was Kylo Ren Sith? Yes he was trained in the Dark Side but so are the Witches of Dathomir.
SonOfAGif
SonOfAGif - 5/29/2022, 12:20 AM
@GarthRanzz - Kylo Ren wasn't Sith neither. Various Star Wars characters were force sensitive and were no Jedi nor Sith. Rey was force sensitive but wasn't a Jedi until she got trained by Luke. Kylo wasn't Sith but a force sensitive wielder and leader of the Knights of Ren. Darth Maul was no longer Sith and was just a force sensitive pirate during his time with the Crimson Dawn.

Been seeing people complain cause the show focuses more on Leia then Luke and I’m like
“of course Disney is gonna focus more on the Princess and not a poor moisture farmboy”

Jaja "shocking" your ass. There’s nothing shocking about that shit show, it’s everything exactly as expected from Disney: Fanfiction. CGI from 2002. Parcours running. Shaky cams that give you headaches immediately. Dumbest chase sequences of all times. Bad acting all over the place. Lamest "villain" introductions. "Star Wars Lore Advisor": Pablo. Obi-Wan "is not the man he used to be" - nearly every second line in the script - already butchered and bested. Get that shit out of my face.
