We were expecting a new trailer for Venom: Let There Be Carnage to be released in time for Black Widow's theatrical debut, but it instead seems that a promo/featurette is being shown to moviegoers.
In the teaser, there are lots of goofy examples of how Eddie Brock and Venom are (not) getting along, and it seems new director Andy Serkis has doubled down on that weird dynamic between the two. Hopefully, Eddie won't be dubbed a "p*ssy" by his symbiotic other in this sequel to 2018's Venom!
The biggest reveal here, however, is a first look at Naomie Harris suited up as Shriek. We have previously caught a glimpse of the villain who joins Carnage in his mission of destruction, but in a behind-the-scenes interview, the James Bond actress can be seen rocking what looks to be the character's final look.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage is an exciting project and one that could go either way based on what we've seen thus far. A second trailer might help clear things up, but, like many fans, we'd be happier with something from Spider-Man: No Way Home before then if we're being 100% honest!
