New MORTAL KOMBAT Movie Demo Reel

A demo reel is making the rounds on the net and looks like way too much work for a fan to do. Could this be the darker, grittier Mortal Kombat movie fans have been asking for?

Devin Faraci of Chud.com recieved the video of what appears to be a demo reel of the new Mortal Kombat film in his email inbox and even he believes that the reel is most likely the real deal. Michael Jai White is seen in the clip as Jax along with some other reveals of Reptile, Shang Tsung, Scorpion, Sonya, Johnny Cage and Baraka. The footage is definately leaning on Rated R deliciousness so be warned.

If this is fan made than they are genius - because this looks like it's footage that is going to be used to shop to studios to convince them to fund the full making of the movie.

Here are some screenshots -

Jax - aka Michael Jai White -

Reptile

Johnny Cage

Scorpion

Baraka

The clip is around 7 minutes long and has a fight scene between Cage and Baraka - it looks amazing. This gives me hope that they can do a Mortal Kombat movie justice by grounding it in reality. FINISH HIM!
