UGO got a hold of some nice new pics from Resident Evil: Afterlife.

Wentworth Miller as Chris Redfield, the star of the original Resident Evil game.







I did not see this posted earlier but on their set visit from over a month ago, star Milla Jovovich had this to say of the changes in store for her character, Alice:
"Yeah a little bit, but I think the interesting thing about this movie is, which is one of the arguments I had with Paul, she loses her powers in this movie. It’s actually a really great thing because in some sense it makes her human again which is what she always wanted. It also gives her a sense of relief to just be a badass again and not have to be a superhero and I think that shows throughout the rest of the movie a joy of just being herself again."

It is only the third film being shot on the Fusion System designed by James Cameron and Vincent Pace, the same system used for Avatar and Tron Legacy. Resident Evil: Afterlife opens up this September 10th.

Starring: Milla Jovovich, Kim Coates, Boris Kodjoe, Spencer Locke, Shawn Roberts, Ali Larter, Sergio Peris-Mencheta and Wentworth Miller.

The only problem with Extinction was that it ran too short, about an hour and a half long.

i am masive fan of the games, and besides the first one being like a prequal to the first game, i thort the other two went so far away from the games they may as well have just called it somthing compleaty diffrent.

i have no doubt this film will be a waist of time.

new film, compleaty set apart from the current movies, based on leon. that what we need to see!

i cant wait to not see this crap. ill wait till they remake this more like the first game then ill watch it. they are nothing like the horror stories i played. these are action cheese fest.

Is it just me or does this movie look like a blatant rip off of alot of Matrix action? Hell there's even a scene that's almost a duplicate....
Shame on you hollywood! Why must you either copy or ruin everything!
They should have just changed the name at the very beginning of the series. This way resident evil wouldn't feel so gang raped and humiliated.

I say this in the kindest way:

ALL these RESIDENT EVIL movies are just plain HORRIBLE!
there NOT even based on the video game anymore,
actually they got the FIRST movie wrong..so why would the rest be any good? even if there whole plan was to DISTANCE themselves from the video games..there still bad. IMO

Silent hill movies are where its at..and I can't wait
for Silent Hill 2..the movie!!

Plus the Silent Hill video games are WAY better than RE video games, RE games stopped being scary AFTER the 3rd one, and RE turned into an Action/adventure game instead of HORROR, while Silent Hill just got creepier and creepier..Silent Hill: The Room (silent hill 4)..WOW play that at NIGHT by yourself with the lights out! CREEPY!!

They need to do a movie based off of RE4 with Leon Kennedy. I am glad that they are incoporating elements from RE5 in this movie though.

I enjoy these movies but I have to shut off my brain when I watch them due to the fact that I am a huge RE fan after I saw the third one in theaters I refused to buy it till I could find it for no more then $4 at a family video. the third film pulled so far away from the plot of RE it was horrible, and Ali Larter as Clair really? Ali Larter only knows how to act like Ali Larter, the only good casting these movies have had was Gullory as Jill, I do think that Miller can pull off Chris but that is still to be seen, and since Alice isn't even in the games or comics she is well cast, Milla is sexy as hell.

I wish they would have went with Ramero's script for these movies it was so accurate to the games every character from RE1 was in it unlike the 1st movie that had no one from the games in it, Anderson shames RE, I hope the rumors of a more accurate reboot is coming after this movie the franchise needs it.
