I love video game movies. I love watching people adapt it perfectly, and watching people screw it up. This is because it always leaves a door open to make it better. In the past few years, we've had a lot of rumors and jokes going around on the video games that many people want to see on the big screen. The halo rumors, bio shock, Mass Effect, and Zelda. But, I have yet to see any "news" or rumors about a call of duty movie. I would personally want to see a modern warfare one first since it sticks to an actual story. I personally think it would be great for Hollywood to attempt and with Hollywood running out of ideas; what would a good idea do for Hollywood? This now brings me to my question; do you want to see a Call of Duty movie and, if so, what game would you want Hollywood to adapt? (Modern Warfare, Call of Duty 1, 2, 3, etc.....) Let me know what you think!

P.S. If anyone does want this to happen, let me know who you think would be good at playing the characters for your game?

they should start with modern warefare then do this movie as a sequel. and it would be cool to see a movie of this

and then to all of the other game call of duty 1 an 2 and 3 and war at war should be turn in to 2 movie since they all about war world 1 and 2 and then the new one black ops should be the third movie for modern warfare

not really. Its a video game about the U.S. Military. it would really just be another war movie. i wouldn't care either way.

exactly. there's nothing out of the ordinary going on in these games to separate it from all the other war movies out there. sure, they could use characters from the games, but big deal. it would still just be anothe realistic war movie.

if your looking for casting choices, Kevin McKidd voiced "Soap" Mctavish in Modern Warefare 2. The problem with most war based movies is that they are usually one off's. you dont see many war based movie franchise's these days.

I don't see the point - as video games they might make great playing, but great playing doesn't mean a great story.

The only reason they'd do a COD movie is to cash in on the name and I'd be concerned that the story wouldn't get the attention it should because of that.

i agree. there's no way it would be taken as seriously as Blackhawk Down or Saving Private Ryan. So it would be a cheesy, PG-13 war movie...no thanks.
