It looks like you're in luck if you're undecided about the launch roster of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which includes Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark.
Dataminers were able to access the game's source code during the alpha test and discovered that Rocksteady was preparing additional DLC including Killer Croc and Deathstroke. Dataminers were unable to verify the identities of the two more playable characters that were purportedly encoded.
Additionally, two, unannounced game modes were also unearthed by dataminers:
- a Horde mode where a group of 4 players will team up to fight increasingly-difficult waves of enemies
- a mysterious PVP & PVE hybrid game mode (similar to Destiny 2's Gambit) where players will attempt to fight off waves of enemies while a lone, rogue gamer attempt to sabotage them.
Due to their comparable power sets, players are currently attempting to determine whether Killer Croc and Deathstroke are going to be fully-fledged playable characters or merely re-skins of King Shark and Deadshot, respectively.
Little fanfare accompanied the closed alpha that ran from November 30 to December 4, which may indicate that not many people are very interested in the game.
On February 2, 2024, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
