Wonder Woman exceeded expectations both critically and commercially so it probably won't surprise you to learn that even more merchandise is now on the way. As you can see below, Funko has announced another wave of Pop Vinyl figures which will be released shortly after the movie hits DVD and Blu-ray at the end of this month. There are some very cool new additions here, don't you think?

After all, we're going to get Wonder Woman disguised in her cloak, Etta Candy holding on to the God killer and Diana's sword, Themyscira's fearsome warrior Antiope, and a Hot Topics exclusive Diana Prince holding an ice cream cone! Those should all be must-have purchases for fans of the movie and it's hard to pick a favourite here. Let us know which ones you guys will be buying in the usual place!

Who needs trick arrows?

@breakUbatman - Oh man, look at that bow string completely loose lol. I'd like to see a real bow do that. Those films are not meant to be looked at with a magnifying glass :)

@Asturgis - also, the arrows don't go where she is aiming, they curve downwards inexplicably.

I could let stuff like this slide if it happens a few times, but the action in this movie was filled with this bullshit.

Wait, but it does make sense if you take into account that her bowstring is loose.

So really, she shot arrows that wouldn't kill anything.

@Asturgis - a quick youtube clip search on slo mo bowstring shows that they generally droop off like this after the shot. so. Id say its done alright.

@Asturgis - Ok then. Back to trick Arrows it is...

@Shenron @ALostCause - No, you're right, it's true that it would snap a bit, but it wouldn't look as if there's a foot too much of string lol

Same thing when you watch that slow-mo of WW snapping that carbine on her back (at least I think it's a carbine) on all those GIFs, you can see the plastic sword bend on her back. Also on the promo stills that look like tall banners, those things are huge, and Robin Wright's double-swords are absolute mate plastic. I really enjoyed the movie, but that aspect was very lacking, and so was the CGI.

You can't possibly tell me they couldn't have used dull props that actually look like blades like every other decent TV show does, at least for photo shoots. Zero risk there.

@breakUbatman - A ton of GIFs don't work here man, even if they have the right extension at the end :) But I know what you wanted to post lol

@ALostCause - Hey, at least they erased the cables holding her still in front of the green screen. Every CBM does stuff like that, but the CGI in that movie was bad, especially since a ton of scenes involving it were not necessary, or could have been done with actual stuntmen and stuntwomen.

@Asturgis - steve trevor's plane looked like it was made of cardboard. I think that's the exact moment I gave up on the movie.

You're [frick]ing crazy if you clicked on that justice league article.

I know there's a 95% chance that it is clickbait nonsense that is completely meaningless, but why risk it?

I came to this article because funko triggered me.
Loved the movie, but.... when will it end with the funko? It's barely art. It must take a minute or so to design one of these. If they're cute, then your idea of cute seems rather depressing, considering supposedly anything can be made cute by taking away all facial details and making it to conform to a template of horizontally stretched head, big glassy pupil-less eyes, and a body way too small for the head.
ImmovableForce
ImmovableForce - 8/12/2017, 5:20 AM
And how would WonderWoman shield herself in the no-man's-land scene with a head that size? :P
ImmovableForce
ImmovableForce - 8/12/2017, 5:24 AM
Oh, tiny body, right.

@ImmovableForce - "I hate this so everyone else should hate it too. Stop having fun!"

Lol dude, relax. Just cause you dont like it doesnt mean you have to try and ruin it for everyone else. These kinds of things are subjective, not everyone has to like the same things as you so just let people enjoy it. If it makes them happy then who cares. And if you dont like it why comment just to talk shit? Whats the point?
ImmovableForce
ImmovableForce - 8/12/2017, 8:17 AM
@theInvincibleMexiMan - Good point. To each their own. I'll collect beautifully detailed scale statues that accurately reflect the characters and let people who deem cutsie things as valuable collect the current iteration of beanie-babies, blissed out in the short-lived cuteness of it.
ImmovableForce
ImmovableForce - 8/12/2017, 8:23 AM
That really is what bugs me about it. Serious characters turned into cute things.. Degrading.
ImmovableForce
ImmovableForce - 8/12/2017, 8:24 AM
Less degrading, imo, would be detailed nude statues of each superhero.
ImmovableForce
ImmovableForce - 8/12/2017, 8:25 AM
Imagine Superman flying over Metropolis and seeing that the statue they rebuilt in his honor is funko. :P
