According to the Drive director in previous interviews, if he manages to follow up the success of his latest movie with his remake of Logan's Run, a big screen adaptation of Wonder Woman will be his. He's made it very, very clear just how interested he is on the project as of late, also pointing out that it's Mad Men's Christina Hendricks who is his #1 choice for the role. Well, in the following video interview with Digital Spy, he once again goes on to call her "a perfect woman" and to describe what exactly makes her right for the iconic DC superhero. Refn also comments on Logan's Run.
As anyone who has seen her on
Mad Men will surely agree, Hendricks is a great actress, but not one who I believe is well suited to the role of Wonder Woman. The character's recent debut in DC's "The New 52" was pretty much the perfect portrayal of the Amazon princess, and not something I could imagine the
