Warner Bros. CEO Says, "We Need To Get WONDER WOMAN On The Big Screen Or TV"

Reiterating what many fans have been saying for years now, Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara highlights Wonder Woman as a character he is desperate to bring to the big and small screen, and also hints at their future plans for DC properties. Read on for details!

Talking about J.K. Rowling's new deal with Warner Bros. to script more movies set in the Harry Potter universe at an entertainment law conference earlier today, Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara has also offered an update of sorts about their plans for DC properties. Talking about future franchises, he apparently said that they have, "huge plans for a number of other DC properties on TV." It's interesting that only the small screen is mentioned here, but that could explain why the past few weeks have seen us learn of television shows featuring The Flash, a young Jim Gordon and John Constantine rather than any movie news. However, one very specific hint dropped by Tsujihara was that Warner Bros., "need to get Wonder Woman on the big screen or TV." If the CEO recognises the need to bring this certain character to life in live action, it's clear that they are at least seriously discussing a Wonder Woman TV show or movie. However, there does seem to be a clear focus on the small screen as of right now, so does that mean we can expect the next few years to be nothing other than Batman and Superman? What do you guys think?

Yeah... seeing how Warner Brothers is moving, we won't be getting a Justice League movie in 2017. Not even close. Lol.

I have a feeling it's possible that heroes on tv series like Arrow may be connected to heroes in the movies like man of steel and batman vs superman especially they're going to have a new flash series and arrow is going to be a backdoor for that series. They can't have two different iteration of the same hero on both tv and movies at the same time as they know it may confuse some people.

WTF DC WHY AREN'T YOU TAKING HINTS FROM MARVEL?....

IT'S EASY, ESPECIALLY IF YOUR TRYING TO DO A JUSTICE LEAUGE MOVIE:
1) USE A-LIST HEROES IN FILM,

2) EASTER EGGS CINEMATIC AT THE END OF EVERY MOVIE TO LEAD FANS TO THE NEXT BIG THING.

3) END WITH HUGE MOVIE EVERYONE MAKES MONEY EVERYONE IS HAPPY.

Have Diana show up at the end of Batman vs. Superman, but only as a surprise cameo, perhaps have just one line. Also, they need to keep the movies and TV series separate.

Yeah DC, do EXACTLY what Marvel Studios did! That's the only way you can be successful. [frick] me, some of you people can't help but think one way is the only way.

If they put wonder woman on TV im going to get SO PISSED.

Wonder Woman needs to be on film. If they really want her on TV, they should just make an animated film.

They just need to take a chance, make the movie the best they can with someone HELPING Goyer write the screenplay.

Between the two choices, I would prefer a film of Wonder Woman be made instead of a television show.

More referring to people demanding a lead-in film be done for every single member of the JL like the Avengers films. I was saying that's not the only way to do it. You could have 3 films (Man of Steel, Man of Steel 2, and Wonder Woman) and then introduce the rest of the team in the Justice League, then flesh out their world's after in their own films.

Let's see how Superman and Batman do first. If they can't handle those two (who have the easiest chemistry to handle) then they are not ready to have a JL movie. No need for WW then.

Its about time someone in a position to do something about it started talking about Wonder Woman.

In regards to making her origin in the begining of the movie I would establish the created from clay origin and by the end of the movie reveal that to be a lie and go the new 52 Wonder Woman route with Hera coming to Paradise Island to get revenge on Hippolyta and that sets up for a sequel with Diana getting revenge on Hera for what she did to her mother. The origin switch up provides for alot of good drama and story telling. It also provides us with a way to maintain Wonder Woman in her own world outside of Justice League movies and whenever else she is needed. I would also like to see Wonder Woman and Aquaman be good friends over the course of the movies nothing romantic just good friends who understand each others struggles.

I agree with Martian.
If there is going to be a relationship it should be between WW and Superman. I am not really for the whole JL relationships to begin with but I think WW and Supes can relate the most.

SO FAR I SEE DC MAKING BATMAN SUPERMAN..BATMAN AND SUPERMAN..MAYBE ANOTHER BATMAN AND A SUPERMAN SEQUEL...A BUNCH OF TV SHOWS..WHAT ARE YOU GONNA DO? PUT THE TV SHOW PEOPLE IN A JUSTICE LEAUGE FILM? DIFFERENT IS BETTER ONLY WORKS IN AN ARBY'S COMMERCIAL AND THEIR BURGERS ARE SOMETIMES PLAIN.
