Ranchi Diaries actress Soundarya Sharma has revealed that she's been cast in Wonder Woman 1984 during an interview with The Hindu. She is expected to begin filming her scenes in October.

The Bollywood star doesn't share any details on her character, but does say that she gets to play her "dream role."

“This I can say is a ‘dream coming true’ situation. It’s exhilarating to be a part of such a larger than life character film where you get to play your dream role. I have always dreamt of playing such a character and idolised it.”

Sharma's role is most likely not that big, but the fact that it is being "kept under wraps" might suggest that it is an important one. Will she be playing an established DC Comics character or someone created just for the film? We'll just have to wait and see.

Patty Jenkins is currently shooting Wonder Woman 1984, with the superhero sequel set to hit theaters on November 1, 2019.
