There are a lot of great movies on the way this summer, but does it surprise you to learn that Wonder Woman is the most highly anticipated? Set to be released on June 2nd, it will mark the iconic DC Comics superhero's first big screen solo adventure and early reactions from both critics and fans have been overwhelmingly positive. As a result, all signs are pointing to it being a hit for Warner Bros.
A recent Fandango poll saw more than 10,000 film fans asked what release they're most looking forward to this summer and after receiving the largest response in the company's 17-year history, Wonder Woman has been named as the one moviegoers are most excited to see in theaters.
That means Wonder Woman has topped the likes of Dunkirk, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Spider-Man: Homecoming, and The Dark Tower to come out on top. With any luck, Wonder Woman is going to exceed expectations as Warner Bros. could do with a hit after the mixed response to other recent releases. How excited are you guys for this one?
