WONDER WOMAN MOVIE REVIEW: THE DCEU FINALLY GETS IT RIGHT

Its been five years since the last postively rated DC movie from critics (that would be The Dark Knight Rises) but here we are with Wonder Woman, a true winner.

Now, I'll be the first to tell you that Man Of Steel is a solid film. Yeah its got its problems (over long third act, some questionable dialogue here and there), but it did a solid job of building up Superman and his world. Now with BvS, though the Ultimate Cut was solid, the theatrical release was less than stellar. The film tried too hard to cram so much into one movie that it forgot to focus on the characters. Suicide Squad did the same thing, only it featured far more cringy elements. But here we are with Wonder Woman, and I'm pleased to say that DC finally has gotten it right with their Extended Universe.

One of the key elements to making a superhero origin movie is to make the audience believe that the lead actor embodies the hero, and after seeing Wonder Woman, Gal Godot 100% embodies Wonder Woman. I had my doubts when she was cast, but now all of that has been erased. Full review below:

So what did you think of Wonder Woman?
Does it get you excited for the DCEU?
I'm sure as hell excited.
