I know I am really starting to sound like a fan boy with all this DC stuff, but hey Marvel is already established. So you can kick rocks, but not before you read, like, and share my article. More and more news keeps pouring out like a bottle of Vodka at Club Liv (Miami). DC may actually be doing the right thing. They have a decent model to follow in Marvel, and the potential is there. Wonder Woman is sad to link to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

According to JoBlo.com Wonder Woman is somewhat of a prequel to BvS. Most of the film will be set in Modern Day America focusing Diana (Gal Gadot) and Steve Trevor’s (Chris Pine) hunt for Circe. The other main timeline is set around World War 1 (1914-1918). The actors playing the two main antagonists are rumored to be Eva Green and Sean Bean (neither has been confirmed). Here is the plot according to JoBlo;

“The very basics of the plot follow Diana/Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor in modern day trying to stop Circe, who is manipulating high-level government men into starting World War III with the help of Ares. At some point she will explain to Trevor about her first battle with Ares during World War I, where she defeated him. Whether or not this is told in flashback or shown early on in the film is unclear, although it’s said that the majority of the film will be set in modern day, so don’t expect an even split between those timelines.”

About the two bad guys; Ares I hope will be played by Sean Bean (keep your fingers crossed) will rule an army of “winged and horned beast” army describes as red and green that are sent to kill Wonder Woman. Circe hopefully portrayed by Eva Green will be a sorcerer with the ability to transform men into beast, and with the ability to morph herself into one as well. Throughout he movie other mythological places and creatures will be featured including a visit to Olympus. With all these details it sounds a lot like Patty Jenkins and Jason Fuchs appear to really be tapping into the WW comic reboot along with the 2009 animated film.

How this relates to Batman v Superman? I mentioned early that WW will link to BvS. Wonder Woman’s events will take place a few months before the events of BvS. There is also a chance that Batman will make his presence known during or after the climactic battle between Diana and the winged beasts. “After the film’s finale, Batman will approach Wonder Woman in some regard to let her know he is aware of her.” With Ben Affleck appearing in Suicide Squad I have no doubt he will make a cameo in Wonder Woman’s film.

Maybe I am a little biased because she is super hot and I liked her all 15 of the Fast and Furious movies, but I have bubble guts (not the bad kind). I am excited about these new developments. Gadot is someone I am confident in she actually fits if you have seen the 2009 film titled Wonder Woman. Well, we won’t be waiting long for filming to start, which will happen next month. Wonder Woman is set to hit the big screen June 23, 2017.

@Scorpion8125 Gadot is a totally average actress, if not above average. The bar is not that high, there are a ton of shitty actors in Hollyweird.

Also Green Lantern didn't flop because it lacked Supes & Bats, it flopped because it failed to sell the audience the basic premise of the character. (also because it was poorly put together in general).

I mean Wonder Woman is going to be towards the top of any list of iconic super heroes. She is THE female superhero after all.

I have my doubts:

1) Circe turning into a beast that Wonder Woman fights sounds way too Clash of the Titans.

2) A Batman cameo to establish how these two meet seems ridiculous and unnecessary. We know they will interact in BvS and that they know each other's identities. It is reasonable to expect that their past interactions will be explained in BvS.

3) Joblo cites Heroic Hollywood A LOT. Heroic Hollywood doesn't have a good track record when it comes to DC EU films.

@Scorpion8125 - Yeah she is hot. And I say give her a shot I honestly don't know if she would be good or bad. I want to see her on BvS first. My initial opinion was wow they couldn't get a better actress, but i learned my lesson about jumping the gun. I don't think they should be in it at all if they want to make her (Wonder Woman) stand out. Aquaman is going to tough an underwater hero idk. But he could just be like the hulk and feature.

@gamecreatorjj - I agree 100% we often jump down a companies throat for their casting, but sometimes they actually hit. I'm with you about Gal, she may be average, but who knows how well she would do in this role. About Green Lantern Sups and Bats had no reason to crowd the space. They had a good cast, but a script that didn't lend itself to most people. Plus the CGI suite didn't help.

@DerekLake - I agree with your 1st point it may be a bit much.Batman isn't needed, but I think it's a decent way to tie into the movies. However, they should have just brought out WW first. About JoBlo, they weren't the only site reporting this. I just happened to use them. But thanks for the heads up though.

@theultimatefan Well, I think BvS does all the necessary work in tying the films together, because it has Wonder Woman in it. I'm sure that if Suicide Squad hadn't basically been ready made, then Wonder Woman would have come right after BvS.
