According to Variety, Fox and James Mangold have found the villain for their upcoming Wolverine movie in the form of Will Yun Lee. The site report that - "details of the Harada character are being kept under wraps and production is scheduled to begin next month in Australia." - but of course we all know that "Harada" has to be Kenuichio Harada, better known as The Silver Samurai.

Lee has appeared in numerous movies and tv shows over the years, including the Witchblade tv movie and Elektra. He also has upcoming roles in Red Dawn and the Total Recall remakes.

UPDATE: THR report that Brian Tee (Grimm) has also joined the cast as Norubo Mori, "a corrupt minister of justice who is about to marry the daughter of a Yakuza crime lord".

I lost all interest in this project when Aronofsky left. Now it just feels like a sequel to Origins: Wolverine, and who wants that?

He wasnt the tattoo guy, was the main leader of that group, the one that killed Elektra's mom and she fights at the end.

@santoanderson, I don't get what you mean. The film has the same story it had when Aronofsky was directing it. And as far as we know, the script is more or less the same script Aronofsky was going to use. So why did you lose interest? How does it feel any different now than it did then? The story hasn't been changed. We have a new director, but he's just as competant and acclaimed as Aronofsky.

What have you heard about the film since Aronofsky left that makes it feel more like a sequel to Origins than it previously did?

It's interesting that they purposely hired Japanese actors for the other 4 roles, but an actor of Korean descent for this one.

@weneedrevelation, how is that being cheap? It's not like they're getting him for less money because he's already acted in one of their films. And Elektra was 7½ years ago. He's a good actor and martial artist. Why not use him again? He fits the role.

I'm so skeptic about this one....

Damn, that's such a badass story, they should just keep true to it. By the info so far that's the case, but we know how hard FOX can [frick] up a story (they managed to destroy the Weapon X and Origins ones last time).

I really wish Marvel Studios had the rights back. Too bad it will never happen.

I’ve got to agree with tazmaniak waaay at the top of this thread.

The script is supposed to be a great foundation for a potentially awesome movie! So far the cast is solid.

Yes its frickin’ fox…but maybe they’ve turned a corner with First Class. Pretty sure if DISNEY had the rights, you’d never get a Rated R Wolverine…

Shut up till further notice, haters.
