Wolverine fans are still buzzing after last week's announcement that the mutant berserker will be getting his own video game from Spider-Man developers Insomniac, and we now have an update that's sure to get them even more hyped.
The brief teaser didn't give us a whole lot to go on, but the game's rating was the subject of a lot of discussion. Most would agree that Logan is a character that would benefit from a more adult-rated game - especially if he's going to be depicted clawing his way through swatches of enemies.
Creative Director Brian Horton responded to a fan's query on Twitter, and while he didn't confirm that the game will actually be rated M (that might be a bit much to hope for), he did clarity that it will have a "mature tone." He also revealed that Wolverine will be a "full size" game, as opposed to an expansion project like the recent Spider-Man: Miles Morales.
Wolverine is in the very early stages of development et (we may not see it until summer 2023), so a lot of things are likely subject to change. We do know that it will be set in the same universe as the Spider-Man games, making an eventual crossover a possibility. There are also rumors that the gameplay will feature more of a hack 'n slash style similar to God of War, but that's yet to be confirmed.
