Could Aaron Johnson Be Heading For X-Men: First Class?

The rumor mill is hard at work today.

First off, let me reiterate, this is just a rumor. If it pans out, we've already started the discussion. If not, we move it to the circular file with so many others. The guys over at Filmonic have come across this picture below that was just taken last week and has come up with an interesting theory. It shows Matthew Vaughn, James McAvoy (Wanted) and Aaron Johnson(Kick-Ass). Two of those are confirmed to be part of the next X-Men movie. Will Johnson make a third? Maybe. Maybe not.

Heatvision reported yesterday that Aaron Johnson is in talks with Bryan Singer for his upcoming movie Jack the Giant Killer (which has been moved to a production date of February 2011 instead of this Summer). So, what is the connection? Singer had announced earlier that he was casting two movies at the same time: Jack and X-Men. Obviously Johnson already has a relationship with Vaughn from Kick-Ass. It is the circle of life, or at least movie making, in this case. One of the largest characters that Singer is supposedly on the lookout for is a young Cyclops.

So what say you - Confirm or Debunk?
