It looks like the new Bourne should be good, but that isn't a surprise because the last ones were good too.

Just re-watched the previous films as a preparation for this. 1-3 are excellent, Legacy has cool moments, but is not on the same level. Hopefully, the new one will be as good as the old trilogy (Damon + Greengrass, so I am hyped).

Some of the dialogue seems....cliche.

And they revealed the father subplot.


Still excited for this though.

I feel like I should be way more excited for this, I loved the first 3 movies. Maybe I was expecting too much or the trailers just aren't very good, we'll see.

@jaysin420 - I agree, I loved the first 3 but nothing about this movie seems new or particularly interesting. If the reviews are good I'll definitely give it a theatre watch

@jaysin420 - I feel the same. I was excited for Mad Max and that was a sequel of sorts 20 years later. With Bourne it's been almost ten I guess. It's not the amount of time it took to get a sequel that's making me not as execited. Idk what it is.

The trailers have been stale. Idk I feel like I don't care as much as I used. We've seen some action thrillers and espionage films in the past decade that have been better than Bourne imo. John Wick, The Raid, Skyfall, etc. Idk I feel like Bourne has lost its uniqueness

@ComicsBornAndBred - Yea that could be part of it, I def don't think it's the time thing. I was probably expecting too much also, I figured Damon and Greengrass wouldn't return unless they had some amazing idea, and I'm just not seeing that. But maybe they're saving the best stuff for the actual movie, and have some huge twist or something.
