Avengers Campus opens this week in Disneyland, and we now have the first footage from Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure. This looks like an absolute blast, and it features Spider-Man: No Way Home star Tom Holland reprising the role of Peter Parker (although the ride isn't set in the MCU).

This ride is just part of a much bigger canvas, and for those of you able to travel to Anaheim, California, you'll get to fully experience this ambitious attempt to recreate the Marvel Universe.

"Donning 3D glasses, your mission will be to test-drive the aspiring inventor’s latest invention, the WEB Slinger vehicle, and discover your web-slinging super powers!" reads a description for the ride. "Through specially designed, innovative technology that recognizes body movements and gestures, you will reach out your hands and sling webs from your wrists, just like Spider-Man."

"As the WEB Slinger vehicles progress, you will virtually pass through several other Campus addresses, including Pym Test Kitchen, Avengers Headquarters and the Collector’s Fortress, also home to Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT!" it continues. "As the mission continues, Spider-Bots will become harder and harder to beat as they continue to multiply."

Check out the ride below, but be warned of potential spoilers!

Disney has also shared the opening ceremony of Avengers Campus, which features footage of an animatronic Spider-Man leaping through the air, Kevin Feige, Paul Rudd, and more addressing the crowd, and Anthony Mackie giving Captain America's shield to Disneyland's star-spangled Avenger.

I might have to leave Florida for this one...
if it’s the same damn ride as Universal Island of Adventures ride then I’m gonna be pissed !!

@slickrickdesigns - The Disney California Adventure Spider-Man ride is very different from the Universal Island of Adventure's one. Unfortunately, the DCA doesn't look nearly as good.

The opening bit with Peter Parker is pretty funny and looks pretty good, but when Spider-Man appears I have to admit I expected it to look better. The Spider-Man suit is great, but it's so obviously digital

Why the hell did they give F.R.I.D.A.Y a thick Irish accent when she she has a North American accent in the movies? it makes no sense to me whatsoever.

Hate to be that guy but... Captain Marvel didn't carry the Quinjet in Endgame, she carried the Benatar.

Looking aside from the fact that it's a really lazy copy of Toy Story Mania, the game play element can only take you so far without a good engaging story. You just move from screen to screen without the elements in between making you feel more hyped up.

Something that would EASILY fixed this is using the Tinkerer as a villain to explain why the Spider-bots go haywire. Hell, why can't he use the Spider-bots to break Vulture out of jail? Then the players would be able to go toe to toe with Vulture, and feel like they're battling a supervillain WITH Spider-Man.

I'm a seasoned theme park goer after living in Florida for all my life and I can tell a lame ride when I see one. It's all the brand new tech of the Millennium Falcon ride with NONE of the immersion.

Oh wow. His voice is getting bassier. Deeper. He's struggling to do the squeaky Michael J Fox impression. He sounds like a senior at least. Good thing this a is his last high school movie.

As soon as the world properly opens back up I am booking flights from NZ to the States and spending as many weeks as my budget will allow at Disneyland. I spent a week there about 10 years ago and it was nowhere near enough time.
