There are a lot of big movies on the way in 2017, though Ghost in the Shell has to be considered one of the most exciting. It certainly looks pretty cool anyway, something which is evident from the brand new trailer below, a sneak peek which definitely gives us our best look at the action-packed movie to date.

Ghost in the Shell has been in the works for a while and follows the Major, a special ops, one-of-a-kind human-cyborg hybrid, who leads the elite task force Section 9. Devoted to stopping the most dangerous criminals and extremists, Section 9 is faced with an enemy whose singular goal is to wipe out Hanka Robotic’s advancements in cyber technology. Will it do the classic anime justice, though?

Ghost in the Shell stars Scarlett Johansson, Pilou Asbaek, Takeshi Kitano, Juliette Binoche, and Michael Pitt. Directed by Rupert Sanders, the movie is currently set to be released on March 31st, next year.
